These 'DLC' should be free leading up to Destiny 2.
We know too much content as be removed, 'I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain' - Is simply unforgivable.

Can you prove that? Can you prove that content was removed?

Easily. Go to any of these "locked out areas" They're easy to get into. It's not just half finished areas with poor lighting. These areas are done, and some of them even have placeholder enemies (king's watch). One needs not look further then all the lies that Bungie has told over the course of development, even going so far as to reveal an area that's included in the DLC from a year down the line, with it's content shown in a PRE-LAUNCH trailer. Let me ask you this. If it's not done, why are you showing it in a pre-launch trailer? Because it's done, and you've decided to cut it from the main game in order to make money. Welcome to the new game industry.

watching JJ during that Destiny Video of the 'Dark Below' was just cringeworthy, 'we know players want more'.. umm yeah..

Edited by Rokon: 11/26/2014 2:08:51 AMAnd this reinforces the idea that they were intentionally removed? Maps like that take a long time to download, I wouldn't put it past Bungie to have a semi-finished map on the game to reduce loading time; it's been done before on other games. I took a look at King's Watch, and compared to other indoor buildings, that's not finished. It's not flushed out, it's essentially looking at your Guardian on the website/companion app. You know what else we haven't experienced yet? The cutscene with The Queen's brother holding the Guardian at gunpoint in the Cosmodrome. Why aren't people going on about that, and instead believing there isn't a story? People are quick to assume that Bungie's lying left and right, but they neglect - or worse, reject - any other possibilities that could arise by their existence.

See, there's semi finished, then there's finished. Not to mention, if so much of it was not done, why not wait and release it when it was done? Instead of doing that, they put it all on the disc and choose to release it as paid dlc for 20 dollars a package. The one thing that pokes a hole in your theory the most is the fact that one of the dlcs is being released A YEAR FROM NOW. Content from that dlc is already here! How much more evidence do you want?

Edited by Rokon: 11/27/2014 1:55:10 AMWhat you've explained so far is not evidence, mind you. It's speculation. You believe that because you found those locked out areas, that they were planned to be released as DLC. As solid as that sounds, it's merely speculation, and there is absolutely no evidence to support that, outside of deductive reasoning, if that. However, I'd like to know more about the DLC that was supposed to be released a year from now. Also, to reiterate on a note. People have taken the tech-demo and assumed that what they're able to do, was in fact what they were going to do. The bit with the whole "We could go there." followed by "We hope to take you there someday." is an implication of their capabilities to do so, but with no foreseeable intention of doing it.
