Lvl 30 Is level 30 no matter how you got there.
You ARE a squeeker.
You shouldn't be playing this game anyway, you're 13. You should be having paydays with other kids.

That is beyond dumb. My 7 year old plays this game and has a blast.
-
Mine too! No VoG for him tho, but he held his own on a tiger strike the other day. Granted, I let him play with two of my friends who said it was cool.

Edited by Yajuu Omoi: 11/25/2014 7:52:19 PMYou are beyond dumb. Your 7 year old should never SEE this game! There is a REASON the ESRB exists. There's a REASON our society is in a decline with moral standards and etiquette. People like you are allowing it to happen.
-
*Your If anything is contributing to the decline of our society it's your atrocious grammar.

I officially hate "swipe" keyboards. And that is the FIRST time I've had a "you're, your" issue too.

Edited by Cyriacus: 11/25/2014 7:36:31 PMLOL clueless you are. "Parents need to know that Destiny is a sci-fi-themed shooter in which players use futuristic weapons against a variety of robots, aliens, and -- in competitive play -- human avatars. It's not nearly as graphic or gritty as M-rated military shooters such as Call of Duty or Battlefield, and it doesn't have any language or sexuality concerns."

Edited by Yajuu Omoi: 11/25/2014 7:39:00 PMAnd it is still rated ABOVE their age for a reason. Shooting is still shooting. No matter your target. Just as a gun is still a gun regardless of the projectile.
-
What should the minimum age requirement be for hunting then?
-
Edited by Yajuu Omoi: 11/25/2014 8:38:50 PMOld enough to know how to handle the weapon properly, and to be convicted of murder when they shoot the wrong thing.
Just in case you can't do the math, that's 18.
-
"Shoot the won't thing"? What does that mean? First off, your ad hominems are just exposing the fact that you don't have anything to back up any of your claims. Second off, how old do they have to be to handle the weapon properly? You stated two things: old enough to handle the weapon properly, and to be convicted of murder. Have you heard of juveniles being tried as adults? Minors can be convicted of murder; therefore, the logical deduction is that, in your opinion, individuals under the age of 18 cannot know how to properly handle a weapon. Either way, the law is against you and your precious ESRB ratings. Or do ESRB rating trump the law?
-
ESRB ratings are party of the law you idiot. And as for handling the weapon. A 6yo cannot hold a rifle, let alone handle the kick. I was 15 before I fired my first rifle, and BARELY handled the kick. And yes a juvenile CAN be tried as an adult, but not in most cases.
-
You do not not know what you're talking about. The ESRB "does not have the legal authority to implement or enforce retailer sales policies with respect to video games." Please cite the legal statute which makes ESRB ratings "party of" [sic] the law. The fact that you make a statement which is factually incorrect, while at the same time calling me an idiot, is not only ironic... frankly, it's hilarious.
-
The ESRB did not make it law. The US government did in the states.

-
I'm not hating. I would never let my child pay a game like this. It is rated for OVER their age, for a reason.
-
How so? Hell, my 4 and 7 year kids play Battlefield for gods sake. No GTA tho. I draw the line there.
-
They shouldn't be playing ANY of those!! There is a REASON for the ESRB!!
-
Parent your own kids, if you have any. If all you have to say is, "Because ESRB said so!" then you're not really making a valid argument.
-
Games like this scar children. There's a reason or society its in a moral decline, why we're having soo many elementary grade schools being shot up by their students. Because these kids think that's it's just a hand, that it's alright to run around with a fun shooting stuff. They never got taught right from wrong.

-
AH! There it is, CONTRIBUTE not create, not cause.
-
Oh wait, I might possibly be willing to concede that I was wrong about something. You didn't say cause, contribute or create. You simply stated there was a reason that, in your opinion, "our" society is "in a moral decline." Then a lot of your writing was indecipherable, between misspellings and odd word choices, but basically, the problem, in your opinion is that children are not taught right from wrong, so as long as I teach my children right from wrong, it doesn't matter what video games they play. Right?
-
Correct. Are you teaching them? No. You're letting them play games above their age level.
-
Correct. Are you teaching them? No. You're letting them play games above their age level.
That's a false dichotomy. I'm growing weary of your logical fallacies. It is simply not true that teaching children right from wrong, and preventing them from playing video games outside of the, somewhat arbitrary, age guidelines set forth by the ESRB (whose credentials have not yet been established in this thread) are mutually exclusive.
-
ESRB credentials?!? Are you KIDDING. They are THE established, worldwide rating system for games.
