I was just kicked for being too young
I was playing the Vault of Glass with some people, and I realized they were Iron Banner 30s. I didn't mention it, but then we got to the gatekeepers. 3 People died every time on the first portal outside. After a few times, I asked them how that was possible, and one instantly started hating on me. He called me a squeaker because I am 13 and haven't hit puberty. We were doing perfect in the raid and we were all laughing at some point. I told him to shut up and he told me,"Sorry, I can't play with someone as young and bad as you." And he booted me. I mean WTF?? We went through it as a team and he ended it there. Why is the community so rude?
Edit 1: We were playing NORMAL with five 30s and one 29, the 29 with me and another 30 in the portal.
Edit 2: Okay, I deleted "fake" because that isn't true, you are correct. They just got 30 a different way than me and have less experience with the raid.
Edit 3: These responses are overwhelming! Was gonna reply and give my thoughts to all of them, but there is no way I can now!

2 RepliesI run with kids 12 and 13 all the time! They are annoying. Annoying as in fun. I got through the raid and show them how to use the relic. Idk about those assholes but man. Some 30s are assholes and are arrogant sons of bitches.

Just know they were dingleberries, and not people you would want as friends. I'm 33, and I have no problems with younger players as long as they know what's what.

Get a better fire team leader. If you are afraid of that make your own group or talk as little as possible. People can be mean and what did having Iron Banner gear have to do with this at all? [b]Remove the Iron Banner gear since it didn't affect the story at all except saying "everyone with iron banner sucks at raid or is a mean in the raid"[/b]

I like to play with others that also have Asians locked in the basement. This way when screaming happens they know it's no big deal. I'm sure you understand.

To be completely honest i think i was best at video games around 13 ish so unless you suck horribly, i doubt age is your problem there. They probably just dont like high pitched voices or having to hear the dumb things 13 year olds talk about (not sayin you're dumb, but we were all 13 once and we were all pretty dumb then), i guess im fine with gaming with younger gamers... We were all once younger gamers. Just be mature dude and older people will respect you. Other than that you just gotta wait til your balls drop.

7 RepliesSo I will soon have 3 lvl 30s, just got the Titan helmet last night, but one of them, my warlock, has IB gear. What does that make me? Am I fake or real? Am I 2/3 real? Or did I just kick your ass in the iron banner and earned my 30? I think if anything winning IB games and leveling that way is more earning than raiding once and coming out with a full set of gear.
