Haha - Well thanks for that ;) My point was there were (alas, many) times when i would go 1 vs 1 against Guardians, and my hits would get them 90-95% of the way down, but because of the damage difference they would take me out, even if we both landed the same amount of hits on target. My own fault really; i should have farmed for a few days before the IB to make sure my weapons were maxed and/or ran the Raid a few times to try to get to light level 29 beforehand... Ah well; next time ;)

Ya level did make a good difference in the banner, my level 29 warlock could one hit melee kill others when fully charged and two hit kill when not charged which was still really easy to do with the glove perk that increases melee attack speed. I bought a brand new shadow price auto rifle to get the banner bounty and did well with it not being leveled at all.

The most frustrating ones involved blasting a level 30 on the face with a shotgun at *almost* point blank, only to see him survive with like 5% health left, and then watching him one-shot melee me in return before i could get a second shot off lol
