Hi Destroyer, Thank you for reporting this. We are aware some players are experiencing lower frame rates after taking last week's update. Players have reported a potential workaround you can try as we continue to investigate. In some cases, refraining from using the Xbox One Party Chat app seems to resolve this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we continue our investigation.

You continue to say that you are investigating the issue. Ever since the update myself and half the people I play with I cant even communicate with. What need to happen is change it back to what it was and make sure that prior to launching a terrible update you make sure it works properly first. Every single person on this game is having the same issue. What that means is the update that you put out has screwed up the gaming experience. Example is we go to do the RAID now and no one can be in party chat, and then when in game chat we can only hear maybe two people in the game. Your company needs put out another update as soon as possible and fix this issue or you are going to lose alot of customers. This is by far the worst update you have put out.

  • My NAT type is open, but Fireteam chat still doesn't work for me. In fact when I pull out the ghost, which is when it should display chat options it never displays any for me at all. I use the kinect as a mic, but that shouldn't matter. If my team mates are using fire team chat I can hear them but they can not hear me. People can hear me through party chat but that brings the well known framerate issue. If the party switches to the game chat option I again can not be heard. Is there a work around for this?

  • This is a coy ploy to get people to test out fireteam and strike team chat :) Everyone I know has had this issue and when doing VOGT two people decided they're better off with an unplayable frame rate and stayed in party chat. Cost us so much time and those chests which they weren't supposed to open :/ I've got my router forwarded as per exact instructions and still have issues. It's your servers:(

  • I fixed this by bridging my router(have to have ISP do it) then reset router. I have my own router and if you do not have a bridged connection you will get weird destiny problems but no issues with any other games.....

  • This doesn't really seem to be "Some players" more like "all players". It also seems to get worse the more people you have in a party. And it isn't really a work around to "avoid using party chat" when Fireteam chat isn't working right and 1/2 my friends can't hear each other b/c Destiny thinks they have network issues with each other. It all worked fine before fireteam chat. Can you add an off switch so we can opt out and go back to living peacefully in the Xbox party chat system?
