For all the hate that Destiny gets I really enjoy it. Destiny is the first FPS in a LONG time that has been able to hold my attention and interest. Maybe it is because I didn't actually pay any real attention to Destiny when it was first announced. I remember seeing the Law of the Jungle trailer and thinking "meh" but I have actually come to enjoy it. My only real complaint about Destiny is that I wish there was more diversity. Having four major locations to run around is nice but it would be cool to see some more Earth based locations. Would also like to see more back story that explains how humanity got to where it is. To be honest, the telling of a very vague story that looks like it might be the setup for a much larger space opera is a bold move for a video game. Its kind of like a television show where each episode asks more questions than it answers. I don't know if that has ever been done before. My only real problem with this is that the installation cost of the game and DLC is high at the start. I personally like subscription based games where the cost is kept down by small recurring payments and the occasional micro transaction for some aesthetic gear, in my opinion this is much more customer friendly as it allows the customer to pay a smaller fee.
