  • Praedyth's Revenge (sp?). While the damage is lower, its stability is off the charts. You can miss the headshot and still double tap two into the chest before someone with icebreaker responds in kind. The gun barely moves after firing a shot. I have used both PR and Icebreaker quite a bit in pvp, prefer PR hands down. It also allows me to use my exotic primaries.

  • They are all shit because of the big red Beacon when you ads. Even patience an time has one when the whole point of it is the active camo. Pointless

    • I've been hit with final boss quite a few times. Maybe that's just because I suck :p. But that seems to hit pretty hard.

    • Praedyths Revenge. Has way less recoil than IB so less re-adjustment is needed. Doesn't take up an exotic slot like Patience and Time but has the same steady recoil and the rate or fire is great. Plus your enemies explode when you get head shots.

    • The Raid Sniper is by far the best. The scopes are great to swap between far and close range maps, the recoil - well, there is none, and the rate of fire is good. You can easily double tap someone! No need to get the headshot...

    • The supremacy hands down. Low zoom scope and negligible recoil.

P&T is amazing with its perks. Love having radar up so I don't have to drop scope every few seconds to see if someone is flanking. Also love the camo for sniper fights. But the main downside of P&T is that you can't change the scope. It's just slightly too long range for most of the current multiplayer maps. It works well for moon, bastion and twilight gap but most of the other maps are too small. Praedyths revenge is my next go to. The stability is just ridiculous so you can take 2 shots extremely quick if you didn't get a headshot with the first. You can use a short range scope and the explosion headshots just feel good man. The feels! #snipermasterrace Edit: btw Impact won't make any difference at all in the regular crucible and very little in IB. In IB it will mostly come down to the raw attack power of the gun but impact will play a small part of the damage output as well. So overall, don't make impact the deciding factor of which sniper you prefer... Just go with what you're good with in crucible and what you have maxed out for IB.

    • If it's I'm not playing Ib I use a lvl 17 blue sniper most of the time because it has an extremely high rate of fire for a sniper and really high stability. And just like everyone else has said it a 1 hit kill to head and 2 to the body. Can pump out all 4 rounds and the barrel doesn't really move. For iron banner p&t.

    • P&T no doubt. Cloak for those long range camper moments, and third eye so you know if you're being snuck up on. You can also fire it decently fast with very high stability.

    • Impact doesn't really matter on a sniper for pvp they all will 2 shot someone if you get a body shot and 1 shot with a head shot. out of the 2 you have I would go with p&t its rate of fire is slower but its range is higher I found my p&t to be a lot more accurate than my revenge.

      • In my opinion I like high fire rate snipers. Any sniper is literally a one shot kill if you hit them in the head, and 2 shots in the body. So the variance on damages between them doesn't matter all that much.

      • Well, its not something you can "get" as in buying unless Xur sells it again, but if you can get your hands on one and manage the fact that it kicks like a mule, Ice Breaker is my favorite. Every sniper riffle that landed on my lap ever since has been dismantled. Check out the vid about what it can do.

      • I suggest agile scope since most maps are CQB. Predyth's revenge is a very good sniper, low stability and high rate of fire. Since I'm a person who sucks with low recoil weapons, I used a Epitaph, the vanguard sniper. The perks I prefer are easier to aim under fire. It's very essential since getting shot while aiming messes your shot up, way too much. The second perk is any you prefer. I also like 6 shots in the mag instead of 4, and that's enough for me. To sum it up, agile scope, easier to aim under fire, 6 shots, high rate of fire/low impact.

A sniper with unflinching and armor piercing rounds is probably the two best perks you get for a sniper. So it has to be a random drop to get the best sniper.

          • I think legendary ones are better because o fthe scope options. Too much zoom is a problem for exotics in pvp. So I think it's more perk related. I use epitaph that has the perks I really like: unflinching, field scout and life support. Especially unflinching.

          • Raid sniper is probably best, coz of the low zoom scope and 6 rounds in the mag. You can still play aggressive with a sniper, rather than camping. Vanguard sniper is not that bad for the same reasons.
