Give us solo players something, let us get the good weapons, let us max out our guardians, we adults with lives (and money) do not have a tonne of layabout mates to call upon at any given moment, we do not have the time to spend 3 hours or so doing a raid not that the servers will let us anyway.
throw us a damn bone.
Don't say join a clan, clans are useless all American kids on at the wrong time, I am on after taking my kid to school and am offline when he comes home, my friends are at work when I'm online so come on bungie give us solo players something to fight for.

It wasn't sold as a solo game. It wasn't advertised as a solo game. It wasn't designed as a solo game. If you choose to play it that way then fine. However don't complain to the designers your playing it in a way they didn't intend.

Why all the hate towards solo players?
-
After reading some of the BS from some of the people on here, it is exactly why I prefer solo, like I really want to listen to trash talk form 15 year old kids!! I don't put up with that kind of talk from my children, why the heck would I listen to that garbage playing a game that I am trying to enjoy!
-
I just wish it was easier to match up when you meet someone on a Patrol. By the time I figure out the guy is not having a seizure, but trying to get my attention, I'm already getting ready to take off. And I'm sure that guy is thinking I'm just some A-hole for ignoring him. Sorry.... Give us chat so we can talk. And if the guy is a jerk hit X and nerf him. Ed

Ya especially since they raised the difficulty of the solo play so damn much that I'm lvl 30 with a maxed gjallahorn and I can't even take down a knight or wizards shield it!?!? Wtf is that? I already thought it was difficult solo now I'm forced to find some randoms to sit around while I kill everything, this game is getting more and more stupid.

I agree with this OP
-
I agree too. I get the concept but with three kids a wife that just loves to moan at me about as she calls all xbox games "guns". Don't get me wrong have squeezed in many hours play but have never seen vog probably never will. I just don't have time to bugger about trying to find a team. Had one invite and got kicked don't even try now. So guess I am stuck level 29 for life. I am coming to terms with it though
-
I agree, I'm not looking for an easy way to level 30, there should be other options to level 30, and it doesn't have to include raid gear. The raid gear can be something to identify the Elite level 30's who do the raid. I, too, can't commit a straight two hours 10-30 times to get all the gear for level 30. But, it is what it is and that's how it rolls. This 50 year old dad will have to be content at level 29.

You want the best stuff in the game you complete the biggest challenge in the game. There are millions of destiny players, yes many of us are 'American kids' (im 19) but just consider that a free lesson in demographics. So you should never have trouble finding 5 others that play when you do. Also a raid should never take more than 2 hours even when carrying a first timer or 2

solo players are shit Get some friends
-
To all those trolls saying "get some friends" you're not getting the point, it's a matter of timing, for some people it's hard to play daily, because of their work or other responsabilities. Asking for more things to do solo it's not a sin. And YES I have friends in the Psn Network.
-
It's an MMO. You're gonna have to live with limitations to the amount of solo-accessible content, bud.
-
You don't need above level 28 if you're not raiding.

Edited by v3NTTi: 11/22/2014 9:20:55 AMI am 22 and work full time, 40 hours a week and I still meet new people everyday. 3/4 of my friends list are people I've met playing this. Using that as an excuse to not make friends is pathetic. It really isn't that hard.
-
I'm in a clan a multi national one. I have ppl in the UK, Netherlands, US and Australia. Some have kids we all have jobs. I have 40+ ppl I can call on at any one time. So you can take that narrow mindedness about timezones being a disadvantage and go away the US holds some of the longest hours played at all hours.

Edited by Al4ric: 11/25/2014 4:40:14 PMTotally agree with you. Every time someone says this is MMO instantly many Bungie defenders rush to tell you, that you are wrong. But if it is not MMO than by definition I should be able to achieve everything alone. If there was information on the box or in game description that to achieve highest level and have all best weapons you MUST play with others, I would not buy this game. There is a difference between having an option to play with others and requirement to do so.

Yesterday I joined a group with a professed member of the kkk. "Insert laugh track". But wait I'm serious. Him and his friend discussed how they wanted to kill all "insert offensive word". Thanks bungie. Your really introducing me to people I want to meet. Sometimes it's nice to play a game without worrying about what type of maniac your going to have to deal with. Lone wolf forever

Wtf is a layabout mate
-
Edited by LuckyKoopa11: 11/25/2014 4:59:13 AMMeh I like to play solo because the community sucks and it's more enjoyable

Edited by Nucleuze: 11/22/2014 9:01:08 AMDon't agree, I'm 36, full time worker, wife pregnant in the uk, I get maybe 6hrs game time a week... I'm lvl 30 and have over 70 friends I met from destiny. Granted I don't know half of them but after a bit of effort I now always have someone to do any mission with. In fact met some pretty cool people along the way...
-
Please don't. Raid.
-
I'm a person who works at least 10 hours 6 days a week so yeah matchmaking would be good for people in similar situations.. Just make life a bit easier is all....
