Can I have an honest opinion on Advanced Warfare before I buy it? I really don't want to waste money and I haven't got great feedback yet.

Many figs are mentioning lag. That was fixed. On xbox atleast. Any lag now is due to the users shit internet. I have a strict NAT Type and I had no lag.

I rented it and it's honestly just CoD with the gimmicky feature of boosting and super jumps. If you like CoD in general you'll like this, if not then this will do nothing to change your mind on the CoD franchise.

Dude all the CoDs are the same. I mean it will have a few new mechanics but nothing spectacular.

3 RepliesIf spend your money on like far cry 4 or dragon age if you can only afford one but if you got some to spare then Advanced Warfare is still very fun and highly entertaining and I love it but it's not really something that you can get hard core into it

1 ReplyThe most rewarding thing about AW is when you can finally kill someone through all that lag. I personally don't like it at all and a lot of my diehard COD friends (which I used to be) are starting to get bored of it already. The killstreaks are not very effective at returning kills. No weapon balance (not my opinion everyone is saying that). Very chaotic and you need a team to play with some sort of order in a match. Pros- it looks pretty good graphically. Easy to jump into I guess (you don't have to grind like Destiny for all this awesome loot). More PVP centered if that's what you're into.

4 RepliesIt's... Not that great. When you finish the campaign, there's nothing else to do except multiplayer, which is kind of boring after you hit level 27. And don't even try to play with [i]any[/i] lag.

If you use the exo to its fullest, it feels like an entirely different game with the solid shooting mechanics of COD. I personally have had lots of fun with it and will continue to do so for the forseeable future I am not even a cod fan

4 RepliesI'll start with the cons Cons: Smaller maps IMO (smaller than most cods) Gun balance isn't great Battery is basically halo stuff Exo survival is meh Pros: Awesome campaign- can't say enough about it (but I'll refrain to multiplayer, unless you want me to get into the campaign) Customization is ballin, no matter what you get in supply drops (excluding boots or gloves), you always feel the need to equip it Guns are more unique Double jump is awesome - Nuff said Exo abilities are awesome Smooth gameplay (if you have good wifi) Zombies - dun dun duuuuunnn! Tl;dr read it

18 RepliesI have the game and it's absolute trash. The campaign was phenomenal but the multiplayer is just straight camping which really surprised me with the speed of movement you have. The guns have absolutely no range and then to top it all off there's an over abundance of lag. I'm talking crazy amounts. I'd give it a 4/10.

3 RepliesAsking on destiny forums is a terrible idea. 75% of the people hate cod on destiny forums just to get on the haye bandwagon.I would go to a neutral website. In my honest opinion, it's a good game. New Exo movement are dynamically fluid and pretty easy to get used to. I have played every cod since cod 4 and I played destiny a lot. I have more days on destiny than cod ghosts. So I think I am pretty neutral on this. Cod ghost was one of the worst cods ever imo. But advanced warfare is actually new and refreshing.

1 Replymy friend bought it, beat the campaign, tried multiplayer and returned it. and he's somewhat of a CoD fanboy..or at least an FPS fanboy. so that re-enforced my never buying another cod game.

1 ReplyIt's 50/50. There is a ton of camping and I mean a TON. Gameplay wise it's ok at best. There is a mode where you can play like any other normal cod games where you don't have the Exo jump suit. I would rent it before thinking about buying it.
