VOG RAID 8 times still no raid gear
One of the guys in our clan has completed the raid 8 times now without receiving any raid gear. I admit it was pretty funny for us for about the first 5 times or so. But now it's getting beyond a joke, he is the one who gets us organized and excited for the raid every week just after the reset. It's a bit depressing when you put this amount of time into a game and get no rewards, considering that is over two months of doing raids and not even a third of the way of getting to level 30. At this rate he might not see it for a year. I'm not to sure how long someone can keep this up for and I'm sure he isn't the only one out there. Please help and get back to me with some feedback

Raid gear is overrated anyway. I'm a fan of the dead orbit gear.

2 RepliesAccording to your grimoire you have only completed the raid 4 times. However, if you are not solely just complaining about RNG and would just so happen to be hoping for some advice on what to do in order to increase your chances to get gear my advice is, Create 2 other Titans, level them to twenty, and then you can change over gears and run the raid with all of them to get loot until your satisfied. You could even delete and remake them then run again for loot, this is your only viable option. Note: Takes about a full sunday to get L1-L20 on one character

I did 5 raids before getting a single raid weapon. But I'm gonna keep grinding for sure. I need epilogue and VOC

Ive done the raid 1 and a half times on my warlock and have gotten 2 boots and 1 chest. And i hit 30 on my titan after about 3 runs

i didnt receive any raid gear till my 17th run

I'm in the same situation. Done the raid close to 8 times and the only raid gear I've received has been the Warlock bond, and Hunter cloak. I've received several weapons, but no gear. Meanwhile, my buddy has complete raid gear for both Hunter and Titan.

I feel I got pretty lucky. 5 raids and I've got the boots, gauntlets and chest piece. Along with my exotic helmet I'll be able to reach level 30 once I upgrade them all. I don't get many weapons from the raid though, just the corrective measure from my 5 raids.

My first couple of runs I only got shards, then it is no where I got all the armour except the gauntlets, fate bringer, corrective measure and haven vengeance. Just keep at it and you'll get drops

I had 3 warlocks to get me lvl 30, after that I made a titan and a hunter, my titan is 29 and my hunter 28, honestly if I can't get them both to 30 before expansion I will just remake 2 more warlocks. The differences in classes is really minimal and none of the abilities are game changing, but in the end I really like warlock best. The RNG is just too unforgiving to have 3 different characters that are almost no different

I got gloves my first raid, the chest piece my second. 10 raids later and I still have no boots. 3 runs with my titan, boots only. 2 runs with my Hunter, squat. While it sucks to wait for one piece, watching people in your party get the items you NEED is the most bittersweet part of this game.

Took me 14 runs to get all the armor pieces. Still don't have Fatebringer, VoC, or Mythoclast. Haven't ran it in about a month, though.

1 ReplyAs others have probbaly already said. have them make multiple characters, they can all be the same type. It is probably better if they just want to get to 30 since you will have a chance for your guardian three times to get stuff from raiding. Also if you steal a leprechaun rip his head off and drink all of his blood and sacrifice his remains to the gods of jelly. You will receive a medallion that gives you a +20 to finding raid items. Your welcome and, PRAISE THE GODS OF JELLY AND JAM!!!!

1 Replylol I did the raid last week 9 times and got no rewards at all, corse I did it atleast 12 times last week. I find the raid fun. something to try though, he should try another group. I have 2-3 groups I raid with, and while I seam to get good luck with 1 group its shit with another.

I got chest and boots on my first raid last week, along with a second Ice Breaker ... and Chatter White.

You can always wait for the new dlc, with new armor and higher light level bump. That's what I'm waiting for..

16 completions here and about 5 of those were with double hard rewards. I have Hunter boots and Titan chest and helmet... let's just say I'm happy about this Iron Banner stuff.

1 ReplyLet me help you help your friend. Is he level 28? Yes? You need to find him the oracle cp on hard. Ignore the normal mode go straight for hard. Oracles to ATHEON. When you get to ATHEON you need him to leave.

5 RepliesI've ran 23 completions between normal and hard. Add in a few more runs where I didn't go all the way through Atheon. Warlock : helm, chest, boots Titan : Boots, boots, boots Hunter : Chest, boots Tell him to run it 15 more times and he might get [i]some[/i] of the stuff he needs. I still haven't seen the sniper or rocket launcher.

It's just random. He might soon get two in one raid or one piece every week. It happens. Does he have multiple characters? I just made a second hunter who is like 2 bounties from level 20. I will be able to run it twice. I have Raid helmet, Raid Gloves, and Raid Boots. I got the Exotic Helmet, and then when I got the Raid Helmet I got lucky and bought an Exotic Chest. Ran it with my level 29 Hunter last night (still leveling my Exotic chest and raid helmet to get to 30, been playing with second character the past week) and got all shards and a Void Heavy LGM. Frustrating yes, but you have to expect nothing and hope for the best.

Been there, that is how it started out for me. Took me 10 raids before I got a piece of gear. But then it was like a landslide, started getting everything! Stay the course! If you can do it on HM, it seemed to me that I got better chances and most of my gear doing so.

Worst part is now it's back to grind, grind, grind to level them up. What is the easiest and quickiest way to level armor? I know you can use the Telemetry on weapons but what about armor?? EDIT: Yesterday also got Vision of Confluence, Praedyth's Revenge and the XV0 Sparrow so it was a good day indeed!

It happens that way. I went my first 3 weeks going through the raid with 3 hunters and got no raid gear, 4th week I got 3 pieces. His time will come, just keep giving him hope
