Played IB with 30 Hunter it was 2 easy I am so happy 25-28 was getting murder

1 ReplyThe IB will spawn a new breed of "earners" One's who think they are better than other lvl 30's that spent weeks if not months getting raid gear by the luck of rng. All these "earners" need to do is get one raid piece and spend one week for the rest of the gear they need. Next week the fourum will be flooded by the new breed of "earners"

Alternative looking gear, more options to mix n match.....or to prove you are the best around....

It's called loot. You get it by playing the game. IB has it's own loot. You want it, you play it. Come on, sense.

Don't no, maybe different gear and look. Nice having a change to just having raid/exotic gear? Plus new weapons

Yeah, just to screw with us lvl 29's trying to get some gear from winning.

This time the iron banner armor can get u to 30 so if you like it better U can switch it up

Different armor perks instead of being locked into the same raid perks as every other 30.

Change your weapons abilities.

I will say that the Iron Banner Gauntlets look pretty sweet and you can still level them up to 30. I'm not a fan of the crucible at all, so I probably won't play this, even if I did I wouldn't hit a high enough rank by end of the week.

Do what I saw the other "30s" do: Give all your fully upgraded guns to a 24 toon, and whoop up on the 29s that need the gear. Level only matters on guns apparently. If your gun does 300, you'll drop anybody no matter your level.

As a level 30 you have a chance to actually change your appearance and still hit the glorious rank. In addition the weapons look amazing with most of them featuring a sight similar to that of the plan c which in my opinion is cool.

The reason I'm going to have a go at this is for the LEGENDARY weapons. I have nearly all the exotics but my legendaries are relatively weak (especially sniper). Therefore I'm going to slog it out for this alone lol.

Is there a point to leveling up to a thirty... best argument I heard was yeah so the next raid is easier. I guess there is a point you are now closer to the 32 or whatever the new level will be. Iron banner I guess if you like PvP.

Is there any point in a level 29 who has boots and gloves from the raid playing, other than "fun". If you don't like the PvP element of this game , calling it Iron Banner will not make it anymore fun. Has anyone from Bungie looked at the loot drops and bugs in the raid yet. If the raid refuses to drop anything but boots and gloves what's the point. I like this game and yesterday's update seems good but I can see myself shelving Destiny and trying one of the other recent big releases. My brother on his ps3 has less favourable thoughts on the update. After downloading the expansion packs yesterday he is now one of the many with the "boar" code. I think I'll hold off buying the dlc until Bungie has a comment to make on their flawed loot system and the bugs in the VOG.
