GUIDE: How to BEAT ATHEON for noobs.
Everyone Stay ALIVE ^.^ derp.
WARPED GROUP
2. When warped call the planet your on: Venus(green/right side)
or
Mars (red/left side)
3 .Have one guy grab the relic and take out the mobs WHILE the other two people focus souly on shooting Oracle's from top of steps UNTIL the relic guy kills all mobs and runs up to cleanse .
4. ONCE cleansed relic guy should run back down stair to center and wait for the other two players shooting Oracle's to make it to him for there last cleanse.
5 After all Oracle's are gone, all rush out of gate ,the relic guy should rush out portal straight to the center and use the shields bubble, so everyone can attack atheon head on until bubble time runs out.
Notes*
-When last Oracle is killed players get a 30 second damage boost.
- On Venus the players shooting Oracle's may want to chunk grenades at minator to help relic guy
PEOPLE OUTSIDE
All you have to do is keep enemy's off the plates so the gate stays open for the people inside to get out. Make sure your at right gate, Mars on left, Venus on right.
Yup, that's the basics I wrote this super fast to give newbies a basic stratagey and idea.. not going in depth sorry. Good gaming.

Well written. You're pretty much spot on, as long as the noobs stay away from hard mode until they've got normal down. I'm sick of trying to explain how this is done to people who try out VOG for the first time - on hard mode. BS. For the noobs reading this, follow this to the T. My group took down Atheon in 3 rotations on hard yesterday. This is easier than you think.

Minotaurs getting health back, atheon shooting through bubble, sending ppl inside after they have shield on them killing them instantly. Supers and synthesis not working correctly, not sending correct number of ppl through gate. Every time these and other bugs happen I just imagine a bungie employee sitting at his desk watching us raid and laughing hysterically. Fighting through these glitches is harder then actually killing aethon

Supplicants can't take over plates , your basically clearing them from the portal area so the teleported crew doesn't get blown up coming out of the portal
