I think i saw it open on the right in past side. Do vex spawn in those past and present gatekeeper fights? Or are their only however many there are and when their dead their dead? Cause i was on duty to grab the second relic and left was first and i turned after the gatekeeper was dead and vex were coming out of a doorway. If more do not spawn in those areas then its def that atheon doorway thst i saw

Yes then you seen it open to, the door does open and yes vex come out of it, this is how I found it in the first place I was like Why the HELL are there Vex coming out of the entry gate over there, then we all dies due to staying in there to long.

The Vex spawn in front of that door whether it's open or not. I just ran a few friends through on their 3rd characters on normal and vex were spawning right outside the door without it being open. I realize this wasn't on hard, just thought it was worth mentioning.

Yeah it was the left side for me (known as mars often) hard mode. We wiped at each section plenty and cheesed templar so nothing special to make it happen.
