Fusion Rifles in PVP Need 2 B Nerfed
Complete and Utter garbage how these weapons can one shot from 20 yards and more. Needs to be nerfed or don't let it be pre-charged. You say that you don't want a game where people only use one certain gun for PvP, well that is what you have.

Nothing wrong with the fusion. The abundant special ammo needs to be severely more limited.

fusion rifles have a fairly narrow range where they are good in. too close and tracking the target+shotgun nullifies them being good. To far and beam spread/strafing and chances are the fusion rifle guy misses his first shot and is dead before a second.

No fusion rifle is a one shot, they fire a stream of bullets in quick succession.

I use a Fusion Rifle as my main weapon in Crucible and I'll have you know that I get (usually (not trying to brag (bragging is stupid))) around the top 3 in the entire game. But I also manage to get to the top 3 in deaths in the entire game. Seems pretty balanced if I can manage to kill well and die a lot while using this gun.

They are balanced due to their charge rate, some I agree have crazy range but they have low charge rate so it balance itself

No they don't! They are fine as they are. PI needs a buff if anything. It's charge rate sucks in PvP. Pulse Rifles need to be looked at though. They seem so weak compared to other weapon types.

6 RepliesDont let it be pre charged? Then how do you charge it??!! It's not like you can consistently keep it a split second from firing. It has to be time and it is hard to aim. If you see or hear fusions, use cover or retreat to a distance

Don't get me wrong I'm not the best crucible player, but I can sure as hell tell you I don't complain for a nerf every time I'm killed, learn to adapt, fight fire with fire. It's the players like you that ruin Destiny even more than it is already, all people do these days are complain about weapons and abilities. I think a majority of the crucible community will agree that people like you ruin crucible and the overall game. Bump if you agree! #SayNoToNerf

The charge perk is what needs to removed or added to all legendery fusion rifles. A light/beware with that perk is op.

That's why you carry a Fusion Rifle around.. Just in case you run into the people that use nothing but Fusion rifles.. Can't beat em, join em!

As a guy who religiously uses Fusion Rifles, I've noticed their range is a tad ridiculous. That's the only thing. Damage is fine, Charge Rate is fine, magazine is fine, recoil is fine. It's the range that sucks to get killed by. That said, not all Fusion Rifles are equally balanced. Pocket Infinity is a nuetered shell of what it was and lacks the bite that other fusion rifles have.
