Quickest way to level your 2nd subclass?
Once you've gotten all the exp from the story missions, what is/are the quickest ways to level your secondary subclass since the story missions for [u]that character[/u] don't grant any bonus exp in the mission description for the storyline missions?
Strikes?
Public events?
Crucible?
Combination of two? Aka nightfall and strikes?

Bounties is quickest blast through as many as possible every day and then tiger strikes help a lot, daily heroic is helpful too.

When I wanted to start my Sunsinger I didn't want to use it because it was not that good at first. Every time you turn in a bounty, equip the class.

Bounties just turn em in with the subclass you want leveled ip

Bounties. Maxed my Voidwalker that way.

Do a bountie with one subclass and turn it in with the other.

2 RepliesFirst mission on Moon Dark Below I believe it is called. Get to door, "WEVE WOKEN THE HIVE" kill 40 enemy and leave big dude up then die to him. Rinse and repeat. Fastest exp you can get hands down, than a few of the easiest bounties, but you can't repeat. Not bad credits if use to black idol. Because of loot farming nerf after deaths only green engrams will drop and sometimes rarely a blue.

Before turning in any bounty always switch to the subclass. Even if you do missions that require using your fully upgraded class.

I've just been running tiger strikes to level up my Warlocks void walker. I prefer this since I can max out my glimmer easily and farm engrams to level up cryptarch and motes/strange coins for Xur and since 90% of the people who play just go AFK/dance you get better weapon experience since you'll get a lot kills.

I'm going to have to go with just playing the game lol. Make sure you have that subclass selected before turning in bounties, though. The XP gains will go towards it.

1 ReplyJust playing normally is the best way, but that can be hard. Here's what I did for leveling defender- 1. switch whenever you turn in bounties 2. Once you get one full row of perks, you can play with the subclass fairly effectively.
