Exotic dismantle during Eye of Gate Lord mission.
I dismantled my exotic Patience and Time sniper rifle during the cut scene after the mission was over and did not receive my +3 ascendant shards. Is there a way this can be remedied?

Dismantling during cutscenes an during zoning (moving planet to planet or in/out of the tower) runs the risk of losing materials. In any online game, you shouldn't make character changes during such transition periods.
