I had a full beard since my sophomore year in highschool. I grew it out because I wouldn't get carded for cigarettes with the facial hair.
Now I still have my beard because I just like the way it looks better. It's manly. My wife likes it when I keep it short, like a 2 week growth. But I prefer a more 1-2 month growth length.
I once did a no shave winter. She threatened to shave it in my sleep if I didn't lop it all off on March 1st.

lol Better than my situation. My girlfriend keeps telling me to shave it, and she says she doesn't like the way it feels when we kiss. She also says she wants me to shave because she thinks my clean shaven baby face is cute. Not hard to see through that lie.

Did you know there is a term for clean shaven men? It's "woman". Stay strong friend. And don't shave unless it's for a job. Then it's acceptable.

I've never shaven for anyone except for myself (you know, when the beard gets unmanageable). She'll figure it out, at some point or another.
