This game is full of exploits. It's a shame everyone has to rely on hiding and sniping for pretty much all the nightfall bosses. It's sickening. I hope bungie didn't intend for guardians to be such babies where we have to resort to hiding in a cave and sniping out of it so we don't die in one hit.
