I did this week's nightfall solo legit with no glitches. Here is a link to the last 5 minutes of my gameplay (All the in-game DVR would record) as proof.
I will admit, this is only the third nightfall I could do completely legit without using some kind of exploit though (the others were the Cabal one and Sepiks).

glitches = using walls or terrain for cover? smh ya'll need Jesus

Edited by docalvaran: 10/31/2014 3:36:17 AMwrong my friend, you hid behind the wall. its not suppose to be the way they designed it. same goes for those claimed to be glitches that you hide in the left side wall, top of nexus or on the top before you drop. if they say those are glitches because you can hide and shoot it means if you are hiding you are doing it wrong.

Wrong friend, he is playing the strike the way it was meant to. If the boss can kill you within one or two blasts from his cannon, why would you stand out in the open? That's crying stupid. He was in the boss room, using the area designed for the encounter. He did not jump to somewhere untouchable or someplace that rendered him invincible. He took cover behind legitimate terrain, where Adds could still find and potentially kill him. GG, no Re.

Edited by docalvaran: 10/31/2014 3:50:55 AMsame applies to this 1.

Edited by docalvaran: 10/31/2014 3:50:21 AMare these glitches or just finding a better way to find a hiding spot? btw you can still die on these spots so he is not invincible. the adds can still kill him if he does something wrong, same goes to what he did, he did not die because he did it right, so this guy did it right not to die too.
-
same goes to VOG hard that the boss will kill you in one to two blast. why would i brawl it out if i can finish him off fast?
-
You don't understand. If a boss can kill you easily, why stand out of cover? It's called playing smart, like when using cover. This is entirely different from "finishing it fast". If you can play within the general expectations set by the game, or play legitimately, then you better play smart. It's simple.
-
i guess im doing it smart too when i do this things. ahhahaha

The second video you showed was an obvious exploit. It's not hard to assume Bungie wouldn't want you doing that, considering he was taking virtually no damage whatsoever. The first one shows an area that's most questionable. Same rule applies, but not to the extent of the second one. Also, please learn of the differences between a Glitch and an Exploit before you toss those terms around. Rather than seeming smart, you just seem misinformed.
Misinformed means to be ignorant.
Edited by docalvaran: 10/31/2014 4:01:58 AMahm if they really didn't intend that then why is it there in the first place? if so why wasn't it been patched? i don't see a difference. all i see is they did kill it easier and smarter. outside of the box type thing, play the game how you want it to, not let the game tell you how to play it.

Terrible attempt at sarcasm or trolling, can't tell which. I hid behind a wall to not get shot by all enemies at once. I didn't glitch anything. When something shoots you, you hide behind a wall. It's common sense.

Im dead serious. as you can tell........
