I'd also like to add, why does it make a difference if someone wants to "cheese" aetheon? If I've done it 6 times and just trying to get gear, then yes let me cheese it because repetition is boring, or maybe gear every completion. So much grind to this game I'm going to try shredding some cheese with the box tonight.

I have to admit the first time my team took down Atheon on both normal and hard I was super pumped!! WE danced, celebrated, and had a great time but then after that each kill slowly got to the point where we expected to kill him, without any reward I might add. Now I just want to get in the raid and get out as fast as I can. If the drops were worth the time it would be different.

Same, we were all excited and it was fun. I just want to finish it as fast as possible now, the repetitive nature is starting to get to me though I do enjoy it for the most part. My grievances are the same as others, you patch the cheese but there's plenty of other higher priority bugs. This game has so much potential, and credit to them for fixing the engram stuff I guess. I just don't get why we HAVE to grind this out, it benefits them none, unless there's a contract clause with Activision on average hrs played for a bonus (which I doubt). Why do they think that's fun playing archon priest 10x? Why is it fun doing the raid 6x and having shards to show for it you can't use, doing a NF and weekly only to be the same thing. I am growing less and less excited about the DLC, and the game as a whole to be blunt.

Actually I starting thinking to myself on Sunday. I have been bitching since week 2 that the raid wouldn't drop the gear I needed to reach level 30. Well on Sunday I received my final piece I Needed to reach 30. I leveled it up and celebrated that I had finally reached my goal...... Then it hit my like a brick wall..... There is no point in playing the character anymore.... I have two alt that are level 28 so I started playing one of them and I started thinking.... will I even play this game once I get my other champs up to level 30? There is literally nothing left to do in this game once you hit level 30. There is no side quest to be done or different "guilds" to join and do mission to level up and find better weapons, armor, or spells (Elder Scrolls reference here).I kept hearing everyone say there isn't enough content but I was like sure there is you can do this...... well huh you can do that..... well your right once you hit level 30 there is no point to play this game.

lol that happened to me and now I try to make mini games out of destiny like Collect all exotics : im almost done every time I go to the tower I knock the ball of the edge Put on low level gear jump in low level strikes then swap to lvl 30 gear jump the mounds on Mars punch kill each strike boss

Yeah for me that's what I want. I would love to be at 30, so I can be done. At this rate though done is going to be looking like 29. It's just getting boring in general, even with trying to get gear there's still not really anything to do except what you've done already 10x. And to me that sucks, because it's a great game that is fun when there's content. The DLC is what 6-8 strikes depending on platform and a raid? Wow, that's about a week of content...don't go crazy Bungie. And if they read this, Destiny is your baby. Coddle it. Spoil it. Make my $20 be worth it, bc for 6 strikes and a raid it's not.

Its only three missions, 1 strike, and 1 raid for xbox users. Anyone correct me if there is more. The three missions will be done in 30 minutes tops. The 1 strike in 45 minutes (that's with eating dinner in the middle of it) and 1 raid (who knows the time it will take) that will take 2 hours (based on current raid). Yea not very much content for $20 in my opinion.

I thought I'd read 8 on PS and 6 on xbox. If you're right I definitely will not be buying this.

That's total after the DLC. Right now there are 5 strikes on xbox and 6 strikes on PS. After the DLC there will be 6 strikes (5 original you play now plus one new one) for the xbox and 8 strikes (6 orignials you play now plus two new ones) for the PS. Sorry for the bad news.
