I was just trying to say that whatever your opinion of your own work, should not preclude you from giving an honest and constructive criticism of someone else's. I'm kind of the same way. I tend to be overly critical of my own, and I'm never to sure what others think, so I ask. I'd like to hear honest opinions on what people think is wrong, not just looking for a pat on the back. That's all I was trying to say there, wasn't trying to say anything negative about yours, which is kind of what it sounds like you thought based on your response. If that makes any sense? I like your work, and you still have not said if you did the background in the first pick.

No, Bungie did. It's a cropped out portion of the background in the final scene from Halo 3. It's just as the tank goes flying out and chief is climbing back to Cortana. All I did was play with the colors & contrasts and watermark it with a 7th column symbol. & BTW, I do like the first avatar, the second is a bit too whitewashed for me, but as you can tell, I tend to get overly excited about bold colors and contrasts :) [Edited on 04.04.2008 9:35 PM PDT]

I apologize for not reading through page after page of useless posts but had to ask what information you would like us to include and ask whether or not we can use avatars from other site (I can think of a particular one but will not mention it for fear of it being taken). In addition, can they be moving avatars opposed to stationary ones? YF (Sorry for all the questions.) PS: Stosh's mother is so . . . . . ;)

Rather than be a dick and point out that all this info can be found in the posts you refuse to read, here you go: Avatars should be in 90x90 .gif format. That includes animated gifs. Once you have made them, attach them to an email to Stosh (7themes at gmail dot com). If there are a lot of them you probably want to zip them, then attach the zip. If you have a preview page on the net, it's not a bad idea to include the link. I don't think you're supposed to copy avatars from other sites though (unless you made them yourself), if that's what you're implying in your post.
