Well, some of them are certainly difficult... but I've done all the content this game has legitimately a few times each. Admittedly, after I've proven to myself that I can do it the "intended" way once, then I have no problem "cheesing" them every other time. (Just an example of how I run Nightfall strikes) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- As an example, me and two friends did the Nexus Mind strike on nightfall a few weeks ago or whenever. They were at the minimum level requirement to participate (25's I assume... but I can't remember right now XD) and I was a 27. We died about three times along the way to the boss fight. This was almost entirely because they would get DESTROYED by the higher level enemies... and I would do something stupid in an attempt to revive them. When we got to the boss fight, we cleared the room of the minotaurs and went up on top of one of the horizontal beams. From there, I told them to get into my "Spot of Supreme Safety" which is a little area jammed between the chamber wall, a column, and an over head rock. Now it has openings on both sides, and often gets grenades thrown into it... so they were far from safe in there. From that spot, it was their job to kill all the vex that they could see. And to revive me if I went down. They died about 10 times in total over the course of the fight, but we never all died together. Now, my job was to solo the boss. I did this by jumping and strafing left to right on the beam; dodging his shots while hip firing my scout rifle at him. This was the most dangerous job obviously, I got killed about every two to five minutes doing this... either by the boss, or the Vex. It took us about 30 minutes to beat the boss fight this way, but we knew we could do it. We were more concerned about a disconnect than actually dieing. XD [My point] ---------------- Nowadays... we run Nightfall's without much thought at all. I can't remember the last time we failed a nightfall, and when we do... it's because all three of us did something stupid, not because it's too hard for us. And even running the VoG on normal isn't all that difficult for me and my friends... Once we get past the first door, we can do it pretty easily with just three 28's. All that said, me and my friends are definitely hardcore gamers, racking up hundreds of hours in almost everything we play. So we may just be experienced... but I don't think anything here is too hard for the average player to do; save for the VoG on hard with this new update. XD [For comparison] --------------------------- Truth be told, I'm pretty sure Guitar Hero on expert is harder than any Nightfall strike. XD And that's coming from someone who's been playing Guitar Hero on expert for years. I've had to spend days practicing some of the harder songs in Guitar Hero... because it actually hurts if you try really hard for too long. Heck, one time I messed up my hand so bad... I had to wrap it up in bandages and not use it for a week, because I tore most of the muscles in it. XD By comparison, it only took me three hours to figure out the entirety of the Vault of Glass.

Seriously think how much you could have learned on a real instrument.

  • Not very much because the real guitar is painful for me to hold. And difficult for me to play. I've practiced for a few months on one. I'd much rather play piano and violin, which I do practice. XD Why don't you turn off your computer, phone, tablet, or whatever and go to the library... think how much you'll learn. Does that showcase the absurd nature of what you said to me... or do we need to have further discussion. XD Really, knowing nothing about me and making a comment like that... the internet is a very weird place. I can hardly express with words how absurd it was that you would even make that statement. Regardless, I'll thank you kindly to let me live my life in a way that makes me happy and fulfilled. I only get one of these to live, and I don't care to live it by your standards and ideals sir or madam.
