Turn that pointless bar downstairs into something! DeeJ?
Considering the match making for raids and nightfalls is super crap, bungie should change the bar (which has no use what so ever) underneath the ship port into a community hub where players can stand in certain areas depending on what they want to be invited to. Just a thought that i wanted to put out there so pass the idea around. :)
Edit: Maybe something like portals that teleport you to different rooms and why not place some vendors in there at the same time.

1 ReplyI agree!!! When I discovered that area I was like ok......lol. Don't see why they put that in the tower really since their is nothing to do but just sit or walk around in it. Would love to have this done because I want to do nightfalls sometime & know their will be times I wont have a couple people to play with. Haven't done a night fall because I only have 1 primary maxed. Would like to have a secondary & heavy almost maxed at least before I do a nightfall.

2 RepliesHave an area in the tower, like the Canteen, where voice chat is automatically turned on. This way people wanting to find other players for VOG, or who simply want to chum it up can do so. Also, by having it localized to one area, people who don't want to hear anyone talk can just stay away from the Canteen (a place where no one goes anyway).

11 Repliesfav place in the tower! but nothing to do there and nobody every ventures until Xur shows up. Maybe some sort of Glimmer gambling arcade game, weapon mod area/skins, weapon emblems etc, SOMETHING :D

Or a post raid fire pit at the front. Like they have at ski resorts. Where guardians who have just beat the raid can gather in their chatter white & do a post raid dance.

1 ReplyYou'd spend longer finding a group for the Raid waiting for people to turn up all being the correct level. One post in the multiple raid/nightfall threads with over 100k replies usually finds you a full group in less than 5 minutes.

items would be like energy drinks, example speedy lime can grant 5 minutes reload speed bonus (one drink every 5 minutes)

1 ReplyYou know, Bungie doesn't have to do it for you. You could place a couple forum ads, have your friends do the same, turn it into a thing where interested players go to the bar to get picked up for raids/nightfall/ crucible etc.
