How about the word "feminist"
Lots of languages have gender specific words when describing things that have both genders, or no genders. ( ex: El Sol, La Luna ) Is it sexist to use these words? Why do some of these words have more negative connotations than others?
Words also evolve over time, with their meanings changing as new ages and ideals occur. (Gay first meaning happy, now meaning homosexual)
Idk dude, are people being to sensitive when describing these words? What do you guys think?
My personal belief, I think the word feminism is about as sexist as the word mankind. (Which is to say not at all)
But other people have different opinions. Which is cool with me, everyone can't agree with everything.

Freedom of damn speech. I have the right to say what I want, whenever I want. It might not be wise for me to abuse this right in certain situations, but regardless it still exists.
