Are Gamer Couples TOO nerdy? (And a raid question)
I had a bad night last night and to top things off, I did the raid on hard twice and only got the ship, twice. So this morning, my hubby woke me up with a present. (See the image) I loved it! Then I got to thinking... Are we TOO nerdy? Is there such thing?
Also, I have a question about raid check points. If I have a Atheon check point today, will it reset to the beginning on Tuesday?

When we first met, my husband and I bonded over video games. I let him borrow ff10 and gta3 for the ps2. We've been playing video games together nearly everyday for the past 13 years. Also bonding over our love for Harry Potter and other things that people might consider "nerdy" but the truth is it's not. Everyone has some sort of pop culture thing they bond with their mate over. While I don't consider myself nerdy, nearly everyone I know does. Some of my non gaming "friends" (if you can call them that, lol jk) are pretty jelly over the fact that I obsess over things like video games.... Reading about them, listening to podcasts about them, playing them, video game themed beenies when i knit, yeah they wished they had my life. (As I look down just now i realized i'm wearing my Umbrella Corp hoodie, and the Destiny bracelet I got when i picked up my game) I think my point is DON'T EVER BE ASHAMED OF BEING A NERD/GEEK/ETC... though, you're not really, by definition. This is a whole lot of blathering with no real end.

Didn't you hear? Nerdy = Cool in today's world. Not being a nerd is like, so last year. And as for the Raid question, yeah, your checkpoint will also reset.

Wish my wife was that nerdy and no you both like the same stuff how's that nerdy? Just cos a husband and wife support the same in football and watch every home game with footie shirts doesn't make them nerdy why should computer games make you nerdy? Break the meta.

hey how are you guys. No your not too nerdy, me and my wife also game together. Although we are lost when it comes to raids. We dont have a clue what your supposed to even do in there. Im a lvl 29 hunter, shes a lvl 28 titan. Anyway it's cool to see we're not the only married nerds.lol

That's cute. Too nerdy is when your signicant other [i]could[/i] tell you things but never seems to get around to it and doesn't have time to explain why she hasn't changed out of her pajamas for 3 days. All I know is, my children are frightened.

Awww that's so sweet! But no there's no such thing as too nerdy, albeit someone has to initiate you guys heading out to see the sun sometimes. Out of curiosity, do you guys have 2 consoles and 2 TVs?

I can tell you with certainty, your checkpoint will be erased every tuesday at 3am(maybe 2am) US pacific time when the weekly reset occurs.

thats awesome, i wish i was in ur position. i have to play games when my girl is sleeping cuz she thinks im to invested in the game.. it sucks and yes it will reset so better get that loot sooner rather than later im in the same predicament seeing as i did the hard raid today all the way till the gatekeepers before atheon and it took us so long we gave up and i want to get the two loot drops before the weeekly reset. goodluck

No idea on the checkpoint, I think they do reset. Me and my ex used to share stuff like that- About the only thing good about that woman. At least your relationship seems to go well, it's the little things that make the whole.
