Best/Favorite/Preferred Class/Subclass?
So i've almost got all classes up to 29 (30 is another journey), and I'm curious as to see why people chose their "main" guardian.
Now as every playstation player knows (xbox might have it too, idk), when looking at our trophies, we are also able to see a percentage of the players who have played the game and gained said trophies. Based on the percentages of Hunter Mastery, Warlock Mastery, and Titan Mastery, it seems as if the Warlock is the most preferred choice to level up (then Hunter, then Titan).
But of course thats only a small percentage of Destiny players, and it isnt an accurate display of how many people actually prefer which class. Now im not saying this poll will either, but it'd be fun to see what kinda results it gets.

I like... Hunter- I've always chosen ninja types as my main in games. The seem so much cooler in action (like when you activate arc blade it looks sick) Titan- They are the most versatile class. They can be used for ultimate defense or ultimate attack. I believe that they are the true master race since they can add nearly one thousand damage per shot at Atheon (auto rifle) Warlock- They have a pretty fun void walker class. The infamous Bad Juju + Obsidian mind combo is absolutely sick. But I don't find Sunsinger to be all that fun. Seems like such a cheese class and when I play it I feel like I'm invincible. I feel like I'm unstoppable. But this is false belief. I run out in the open then die. Wasting a super to hide behind a corner and regen health. I honestly see it as a try hard only class

I prefer Titan. Hunter feels too weak and that Warlock glide sucks.

Played as all 3 , only like the warlock cause the abilities are fun and I like the gear more. Voidwalker with surge, split NB, and tracking is awesome especially with the claws of ahamkara

Warlocks are a popular choice! Good agility for raids and self resurrection! Titans are slow but have such good defense options. And hunters are fast and stealthy. All classes have an advantage!

For me it's Hunter > Warlock > Titan because that's just which ones I played the most as. Although I can say so far they're all pretty dope.

I'm a level 27 Titan. I like it because it suits my play style. I have a fully upgraded Striker subclass. In PvE, I use a Pulse/Fusion/Machine Gun Loadout. But in the Crucible, I use a Hand Cannon/Shotgun/Machine Gun Loadout. #Titanforlife

2 RepliesI haven't quite hit 29 on my Titan, so he is my main (only guardian at the moment actually). I prefer defender immensely as it is much more useful in PvE and fits my play style better. From playing with friends of different classes, and just playing against others, my next guardian will definitely be a warlock. I am very much a distance fighter. My preferred loadout being Scout/Sniper/Rocket, being able to chuck a giant grenade or a crapton of gerenades every now and then seems to me to be perfect for me. Hunters definitely seem to have the advantage in PvP, but since PvE is my bread and butter, the hunter will be my third guardian.

1 ReplyI used to main a lock, loved him to death but I wanted to try Titan defender, shortly after I switched my main. I love the defender class cuz people really rely on you and I love being needed or something more than just damage output. Plus using the bubble as an offensive tool is really fun and strategic, takes a lot more skill than just hitting your special and watching it take our enemies, I hve to be creative on how to use my bubble to take out foes

I wanted to be agile, nimble and stealthy. And of course Golden Gun was the most awesome super in the Beta (imo). Out of the other two, it was a tough decision, but i think the sturdier choice would be Titan. It can make certain scenerios into easy-mode. And to top it off, most of the armor is badass! Warlocks are great, but having an advantage in recovery is somewhat lack luster compared to Agility or Armor. I do think that Sunsinger can be extremely helpful, and Voidwalker is great for crowd control. All of which are great classes
