Xur is ruining the game!
This is the second time Xur is selling stuff i already have and the second time he decreased my legendary/exotics value. I thought the suros was supposed to be valuble but now that he is selling it again i see it being over used by every single person who never ran VoG or any raid what so ever. Where is the value in something that anyone can get? Suros is no longer an exotic in my eyes. SMH
How would you guys feel if you finally got the Vex Mythoclast after hours and hours of repeated raid runs only to have xur sell it the next day? Waste of time right?

the vex isnt the same, as you are doing the same thing over and over for a specific outcome. You getting the suros from some random place is the same as xur selling it, yeh you may feel special about it but im pretty sure noone else gives a crap about what you have. xur isnt ruining the game, this elitist attitude and posts like this are.

Everything you own now will become a useless nostalgia piece in your vault. The first blue weapon you pick up will probably be better than current exotics. 3 months later dlc 2 will drop. All the dlc 1 gear will become nostalgia pieces in your vault too. And so on. Don't get too attached ;)

Edited by WarpPigeon: 10/24/2014 1:16:21 PMAnother one of these threads. sigh, Whilst Loot is based on RNG a Xur system is needed so people with terrible luck can still earn exotics, Just like the factions sell legendary items. if you had no exotics and couldnt earn one for jack how would you feel having no Xur, (frustrated is what i would imagine like the people who do the raids every week and get no raid armor) until the exotics you get as a random reward have bonus/variation in stats/perks (ensuring its only a couple of variations and none of the crappy perks) then there will always be this problem. Or unless the price Xur sold his loot at was doubled/trippled from the start, sure there would be an uproar if it happened now, but if it took a few weeks to earn the strange coins needed to get his gear, and you couldn't just buy everything he has every week, people would buy what they really wanted and some items could still be pretty unique. but on a long enough time line eventually everyone could have everything that Xur sells, so it will always bottom out and these threads would still pop up. TBH i hate these threads, What gear someone else uses has no effect on the gear you use (even in pvp if all guns were balanced) you will never ever be unique. there is 2 styles of Legendary armour sets + raid armor. Even factions armor is identical to each other apart from the colour [quote]You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. suros is a participation reward everywhere not just the raid. I got one tuesday from nightfall. I could care less the xur is selling it now.

Here's the thing, you just got lucky in a drop in pve or pvp there is no reward system in this game besides the nightfall, he might of ruined your fun time but oh well go cry about it or play a new game like COD, don't be saying what if, if gear from the raid is raid specific. The only people who complain about him are the people who just got lucky instead of earning strange coins to purchase something they would like. You played the slots and got lucky, we earned a paycheck and run to the market

How would I feel? I wouldn't feel anything. Why should I care what someone else has, or how they got it. I wish people would pull their heads out of their ass and stop feeling so damn entitled. Seems like the only things I get through nightfall are strange coins and junk. Buying from Xur with my earned coins seems legit to me. Considering there isn't trading in the game, there is no value on exotics other than the material you get from breaking them down. If it's so good, then everyone having it will help make strikes and raids easier.

First of all "[b]legendary/exotics value[/b]"? It's not like there is a trade system or anything. So the value doesn't matter. Second of all, What does it matter to you who else has the same items as you? Like I said before, you can't trade or anything like that. And you got your Suros the same way everyone is getting it now. I understand wanting to feel like your the only one that has an item, but everyone earned their strange coins and they can spend them on what ever they want. Give it a rest with the Xur posts.
