Xur is ruining the game!
This is the second time Xur is selling stuff i already have and the second time he decreased my legendary/exotics value. I thought the suros was supposed to be valuble but now that he is selling it again i see it being over used by every single person who never ran VoG or any raid what so ever. Where is the value in something that anyone can get? Suros is no longer an exotic in my eyes. SMH
How would you guys feel if you finally got the Vex Mythoclast after hours and hours of repeated raid runs only to have xur sell it the next day? Waste of time right?

Yes because everyone worked hard to get the vex mythoclast......just like me. I started loading into a raid with friend and they won before I finished loading so I got the vex mythoclast and the raid helm as a reward for loading the game.

Oh no! Since everyone has suros regime I won't be able to sell it for 10 ascendant shards! Oh wait. We could never trade items in the first place so no items in this game have any inherent value.

This is quite honestly the only game I have ever seen people complain about items being available. Where did this concept of items are specifically for one person come from? I have to assume it's the COD community who is this misguided.

5 RepliesDude stop being a bitch. It's a damn game for one and you know damn well that if xur sells something you been wanting, you would buy it. So stop being a damn girl about it. So far the items he has been selling are repeats. I'm starting to think he has a list of items that he sells and that's it. If that's the case then you still would have some items that the only way you would get them is raids and what not.

Exotic bounties for example. 3 Raid obtained exotics are better (usually) than the same exotics gotten other ways. That's why they're called Raid Forged Exotics

It does take away from the feel of obtaining an exotic. My friend got one legit and the next day Xür was selling it.

There is no high value on exotics, people just assign a needless value because they're a different colour. They have unique gimmicks but that is about as far as it goes. The reason they seem better is because occasionally said gimmicks make it easier to control, but the damage is equal to legendary weapons, meaning anyone with enough skill (which isn't very much) can get the same efficiency from a legendary weapon.

There's no trading or auction house so gear isn't worth anything. And as far as raiding, id rather my team have a solid arsenal to utilize, then worry about the size of my Mythoclast.

I've done vault of glass 5 times and bought Regime today just to try it out. It's a nice gun, I see why it's so popular. But it prefer hand cannons. So it's in the vault. My sole disappointment with Xûr is that he's not selling the Skull of Dire Ahamkara today. I've had it for ages, he's not sold it once and I want my Voidwalker brethren to try it out!

I never cared for Suros. I did get it in this weeks Nightfall though. Its the only Exotic weapon thats been given to me as a reward so I guess they just can't get rid of those Suros Regimes fast enough!

2 Repliesit really doesn't matter because the game is all luck based anyway... xur is there to even the playing field a little with the sucky luck based systems. plus its not GUARENTEED he will have any weapon over another. If you think the Suros is the end all be all, you sir are wrong. bungie has stated they want to do some more balancing to weapons (rebuff vex mytho and re-nerf autos) they also stated that they want to even out the exotics so that ONE exotic is not the "BEST" exotic. the way i see it is in the next hotfix that will probably go live next week, tuesday perhaps, will include the "baby bumpers" and further nerf ARs. this is just bungie slaping us all in the face before they nerf the suros next week, and they will respond with "we just listened to the community when they stated they wanted the suros back from xur."(every single "what do you want from xur forum post is just a list of people saying suros). plus, some custom ledgendaries, ones found from engrams, can be better and why waste the exotic slot when you can use a VoC instead. quit yo' bitchin' there is no such thing as "special snowflakes" in this game... ps: if you play on the PS4 or PS3 and you really want to be unique. try your LUCK at getting a monte carlo or hawkmoon. because xur sells the same thing on both systems so if you put 2 and 2 together you would deduce that he could never offer those in his inventory due to exclusivity
