The mission "343 Guilty Spark" Scared the hell out of me, because when you look around, you see a downed Pelican, dead marines, dead covenant... dead flood...
So, I was like HELL NO cause you see like blood spilling all over,
-
it was really scary because i had no idea who the flood were
-
It was scary until Garbage Scrap came in and zapped the flood.
-
the same thing happened to me
Posted by: IMOMXJ I was 10 years old and it was like 1pm when I played it the first time. Can you guess the result? I was scared S H I T less. Really s hitless.

Posted by: spartennum117 Honestly this level scares you guys?
you have to remember that alot of us were much younger in those days. i was only 11 or so. this level wasn't that scary, more spooky. everry corner you're expecting something to jump out and start shooting you, but nothing. then you get mobbed by 20 infection forms. what was scariest was walking into that one corridor completely covered in blood. that freaked me out.
-
for me i was 8 and at my friends house and his basement isnt finish at 2 in the mornin with all the lights off and the only light was the tv and his house is really old so it creeks alot...so i was really scared i didnt go to bed that night
-
The first time I played itI was 11 and it was at night on a rainy night. Scared me alot, but I loved it.
-
I think it was the best flood level of all the games. It's like playing in a sci fi horrer movie. It's just really well done with crashed ships and glow sticks (were are they in halo 2 or 3 btw?) and an elivator with blood EVERYWERE and on the first time play halo your just like "Can I go back to fighting cove on halo. This is scary. I don't want to go down in that hole". Plus there's fog everywere yet its outside so there's also trees and rocks and water and stuff. Halo 1 was just really well done.
-
The grunt blood on the walls during elevators freaked me out. I was seven (I think) back then.
-
I played this level with my cousin and it didn't scare me. Are you guys fo reals? I dunno, I had played the Resident Evil games before Halo so that level really wasn't much compared to RE.
-
i found it creepy how you could follow the flood's advancement in knowledge. they started as the pods, then carriers, then combat forms, then they got guns!
-
it is NoT scary its just super gory and its super fun
-
playing this level really late at night on halloween would be something cool to try out. crank up the volume too.
-
Posted by: BOB570 Try playing it at 2 in the morning with all the lights off and crank up the volume.
I've done that, with all the halo games and levels. (Surround sound FTW)
-
I believe I was 9 when i played it. Scared the piss out of me. I think it was 9 or 10.
-
Try playing it at 2 in the morning with all the lights off and crank up the volume.

I was very afraid during that mission.
-
The first time I saw flood, I was with my lil bro, he was only 8 at the time too, and it was 10:30 PM, the result: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have nightmares about that level, I also remember killing sentinels and trying to shell out Spark with the shotgun. Dang those Halo 1 shotty models were powerful.
-
It was pretty scary, there was actually flood walking around on the outside.

343GS was pretty damned creepy. It was just so suspenseful and dark. Halo CE did the best job with the flood, they were actually fearsome this time around.
-
I remember my first time. I saw one Flood run across my scope and when I went to pursue it; it was gone...
-
Just the other day I did not kill the marine that shoots at you while you are going into the level. I went behind the pillar and let him spout off his nonsense AND IT WAS HILARIOUS! I never did kill him, since I was not using the pistol, didnt need the ammo!

WIMPS... every one of u

Anyone ever play the mama duck mini-game ? See how many former Elites - ("Bull Flood" as they're still called in my house) you can get in tow at one time... Shoot off their arms and they'll follow you around like a disgusting puppy. Think my record is only 3. Usually too much "friendly fire" for more.
