Poll to get rid of PVP to focus on PVE as it was advertised!
^This was an old poll I made before the release of the game. They didn't seem to listen back then.
Yup PVP is killing the game one bad patch at a time.
For those saying both Bungie already proved they can't do both.
69% don't want PVP to take away from PVE and rather see it removed! 6:58am still going strong! 10/24/14

See this is your issue. This is why you're toxic. You "assume" we want PVP gone because we suck at it. This is strait up false. We want it gone because players like you are what makes up the majority of its community as illustrated here clearly. We don't suck we just don't care to fight the same tiny maps vs tbagging little kids all day. All the PVP whines have effected the PVE environment I was fine staying in, now that that has happened I'm here to get rid of the issue that is PVP.
FYI Halo was PVE focused! PVP was an afterthought and only lan.
ONI was PVE only...
Also, so far every dude that has claimed I sucked at the game PVP/PVE in this thread hasn't completed the hard mode raid!
I've been a fan longer than halo 2-3 which is where I bet your PVP spouting selfs came from.

A poll usually gives more options aside from the opinion of the OP to make it more "realistic" For me the option Yes keep PVP, even If I don't like it would be the fair option. Thing is, some like PVP better and some like PVE better. So we need both. Look a bit further then your own satisfaction. If your poll was about bungie focusing on both aspects of the game in stead of PVP only (atm) I would definitely agree.

Honestly, why can't we have both, if you don't like pvp, than don't play it. I prefer pve myself, but I do like to play pvp every once in a while to keep things interesting. Also, Bungie would be turning away a large percent of the Destiny community if they removed a large part of the game such as pvp.

I don't agree simply because there's not enough content in the current game for PvE. That's why PvP is here.

STUPID idea. The game caters for both, it was designed that way. I love PvE, but when I get bored of doing the same thing its nice to head over to the crucible and get some more diverse play in terms of Me getting my ass handed too me(which doesn't happen often obviously) and me smashing the hell out other players which is the only game mode you can do that as there are no betrayals, which just would be funny like they were in halo. I'm sure there's others that agree with what I'm saying. Who doesn't like abit of competitive play, it shows if you are really skilled or not.

3 RepliesThey don't need to kill PvP they need to separate the two which what they have already said they plan on doing. Hence why Mythoclast is getting a boost in PvE and the Iron Banner will now reward armor that can reach light level 30z

-that would involve getting rid of Crucible Marks, and factions that require them. -changing the factions that need them, to something like vanguard marks, makes it more boring, especially doing the same strikes. -now your only XP gain is PvE, no variety.

What a childish post. They're not going to totally get rid of PvP, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Some people actually ENJOY PvP! Shocker, huh? All they have to do is limit PvP patches to PvP, and leave the PvE world alone. That's all. Problem solved.

Halo is shit and destiny is the shit. In halo your a guy in a super suit that isnt that super. He would probs get killed by iron man and he sucks shit too, and would deffs die at the hands of my titan. They will never get rid of pvp it cost them money to run it and make it and they would lose a shit ton getting rid of it because some halo fags cry to much.

No - with some tweaks it will be fun again. It's a great game and multiplayer is also fun. Slightly reduce the range damage from shotguns and fusion rifles and there is a good balance there.

Meh, I don't think you suck at PVP but I don't really see how it damages pve other than the Mythocast and tbh that's still pretty good at killing anything in the game. PVP is fine, I finish on top of the score board and even when leveling a new character at level 2 finished at the top in rumble. However I play way way more pve than PVP and really just do it when I like the bounties. How would removing it from the game help us out? I don't see the benefits of not having a competitive mode when pretty much all mmos have PVP systems.

I much prefer PVE to PVP.... But every now and then I like playing PVP, the only thing I think they should do is if they Nerf weapons, only nerf them on PVP and leave PVE alone
