I don't know if it's just me. I feel that players are awarded too many points for kills when playing Control. They're getting rewarded more for kills than the objective. Capturing points. You get players that get 23 kills In a match with 1 or 2 caps and they are on top of the leaderboard. While someone that has half the amount and 8-9 caps are somewhere in the middle of the pack. You or your team shouldn't be rewarded for you not playing objectively.

It's about the kills that's why, if you've already captured the flag all you need to do is rack up kills & defend

Control is by far my favorite. My frustration comes from teams that just scatter and play the game like it's rumble. Let's face it, if your looking for kills what better game than control because you will always know where players are at based upon which points are being taken. It sucks. Control should be the one crucible that has more incentive to take and hold points.

If you read the tooltip and listen to the pre-game dialogue, Destiny's control is a little bit different then most games. For every point you control, you get a % increase in points for kills. So holding 1 point but destroying the other team can still win you the match. You don't get as many points (or any) for blindly holding 2-3 points. Holding plus killing with net you points the fastest, but absolute control with low kills will net less overall points then a balance of kills + control points held. Hope this helps!

Agree totally. No reason to play objective.
