I'm certain this may have been asked countless times, so I apologise in advance.
But now that the game's been out a while and you've got your experts, and those geeky guys that dissect everything and make theories about storylines etc, I'm wondering if someone can shed some light on if these three base stats actually make a noticeable difference, or if it is very minimal.
I'm a Hunter, have been focused on Agility since Day 1 because of my style of play. But having swapped over to a heavier armor and recovery base stat instead, I feel my jumping height and sprinting are exactly the same. Am I missing something?
This goes mainly for PVE as I know there are balances in place at PVP.

Agility does affect your jump height if tested it. Along with your running speed. But honestly its pointless unless your ghost hunting or collecting resources. Armor an recovery are best no matter the class/

Agility is an utterly useless stat IMO I've focused more on armor and recovery and when I'm blade dancer I just use my blink for mobility

The way I understand it; Agility makes you more agile (lol) and easier to avoid incoming damage. Armor makes you more resilient to the incoming damage if you can't avoid it. And recovery makes you recover that lost health faster. Armor is inevitable, but agility or recovery is more based on playstyle.

1 ReplyIt is a very small little tiny sliver of a difference. Recovery is what I roll with as a Titan. Max that sucker out.

I'm not sure about recover and armor, but I HAVE seen a difference with agility. It's not major as far as I know, but it is enough to make the little difference. For example, if you're in the tower on top of the post master building facing the edge of the tower, with a higher agi you can run and jump onto one of the flags. But if your agi is lower you'll just smack into it and fall off.
