What does the Agility stat actually do?

What the hell does it do? It's on the lowest I can possibly get it on my character, but I don't notice me being sluggish at all. What does it do?

  • Agility is jump height Armor is how Much shield you have before it hurts your health And recovery is how fast your shield regens after dropping low

    • Agility adjust how fast you can move, fire, reload, ADS movement and how high you can jump.

      • The stats needs to be a lot more detailed and explained. I literally just rid of Agility because it was most useless thing on there. I continue to jump as high, run as fast and yet I do not see any worthiness to have it. Recovery and Armor also needs to be explicitly explained what they affect too another than just recovery health faster and gain additional armor (Which I call BS because I feel like I die just the same whether I have more or less)

          • It increases run and jump speed and movement overall. I think it is the most important stat for PvP hunters.

          • I think it was supposed to effect movement speed and jump speed but bungie didnt want hunters to be running around at light speed so they made it so the human eye cant see the difference

            • Well they must do something, seeing Bungie have nerfed the Titans as we were getting more agility from a perk than we were meant to! WTF...i mean Really??

            • It's run speed man. All three stats are very subtle in the changes. Even with maximum agility as a hunter I'm not fast enough to catch up to a fleeing foe unless I find a more efficient path... I think max armor you can survive like one more auto rifle bullet.

              • The only diff I've noticed is that I can jump on the post mans hut no problem with my hunter but I fail a few times with my Titan

              • My understanding is it lets you aim down sights faster, move faster while aiming, and swap weapons faster. The difference is negligible unless you go from Max Agility to min Agility when you can actually notice it.
