It looks like the masses hasn't caught on to spawn trapping loot in Explore... there's no need to run loops on any planet.

Why? How does it hurt your clan for others to have a chance to be able to level their gear? I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't understand how it's a good thing to NOT help the rest of the community. If this is something only one group can do at a time, I guess that's different (and sounds exploit-y). If loot trapping is something anyone (or any group) can do, and there's no effect to anyone else inside or outside that instance, I don't see the harm.

Just YouTube it mate. It's not that big of a deal tbh. Involved finding a chest that's close to the edge of where the area map partition is. Collect chest, leave area and return. The chest will still be there as the sever loads the previous instance that is stored which results in the chest still being there. Only works if you're alone in the area though.

Ninjambie told me about it already. :^) Oddly, I don't find it works too well for me. I think it's mostly that I can only play in evenings and on weekends when there's a lot of activity in all the areas. I'm almost never alone in an area, so the chests don't respawn for me. I just go around and search spawn points any more, usually works well enough.

Honestly I've not... and need to. Lately I've had almost shamefully good luck farming, so I've just sort of been letting the bones roll. Twice this weekend I found a "happy chest" with 3 items (once it was 3 blues, the other time it was 2 blues and a purple) and 12 harvestables each. I'm not sure if it's because my Grimoire score is finally over 1900 or if it's just incidental. (I know 1900 is nothing much as Grimoires go, but bear in mind I hardly ever play Crucible, so I'm missing out on a lot of points from that source.) But yeah, you're quite right, I need to review the great work of other Guardians who have got farming down to a science. If nothing else I can use the mats to trade for Crucible rep and marks, too. And daddy needs a Fair And Square pulse rifle...
