Since launch and even before that. The devs at Bungie have stated that Destiny is meant to be an ever changing experience...they wanted to make a great game by hearing from US during the process. This game was never intended to be concrete...PERIOD. I've played Destiny nearly everyday and as a gamer its easy to see and "feel" the differences in gameplay with every patch...btw the most recent patch has brought upon complaints by many over Easter Eggs. Who does that? Easter Eggs are considered by most gamers to be a shout out to games/media or their genres...this marks my first moment reading comments citing the loot cave remains as an insult to those who spent HOURS shooting at lvl baby sh*t thralls respawning out of a cave. Shame on you....to truly appreciate Destiny you have to treat it as something new and constantly evolving which to me is a good thing. After only a month after launch I'm still playing Destiny as the only worthy game for my PS4. Let's be more critical of the guys at Bungie when its 6 months after launch and still no options to remove your head gear or change player/gear features. Thanks for an awesome game Bungie.

1 ReplyIf they are listening they are listening to the wrong people.
-
They may be listening but they've done little answering. Similar to the Christian God actually which is sort of funny. Lol.
-
I've seen devs reply twice in these forums. Once was more of Deej's cryptic bullshit and the other was him sarcastically telling someone to grow up after the guy defended their shit game. Ya they're listening but they don't give a shit.
-
20 RepliesIf they are listening.. where are they at? Has anyone seen a single response from them in last 2 days on their own "Feedback" board here to any of these latest posts? The only official bungie post I saw was one showing a highlight promotional stream. Btw I am seriously asking if anyone has seen any official responses here? If they did then that is cool, please link me to them. Thanks

As none of the feedback from beta was addressed I have my doubts! I hope the pull their fingers out of their ears and listen because it could have been epic.
-
The content of the first DLC will tell me if Bungie is listening or not. If it appears to be another lifeless money grab I'm done with this game.
-
2 RepliesMaybe it would help with less time wasted on nerfing, and closing down loot caves.... If someone wants to waste time on the cave firing line I say let em! But focus on bigger issues. Like story, bugs, better gear, longer events, etc.
-
10 RepliesOh bungie's listening alright.... but only to the pvp cry babies.
-
2 RepliesIf they are listening so hard, where is my music volume control? WHERE??
-
7 RepliesDestiny has to evolve.. right now it's a 6/10.. and that's a fair verdict.
-
3 RepliesThey aren't listening.. they are watching.. watching to see how to manipulate the players into thinking the updates are making the game better. In reality, the game is getting more incomplete by the day. A 500 million dollar project.. yet the story/campaign can be beaten in less than 5 hours, with little effort.. Not to mention the dry quality AND quantity of content. Decent graphics don't make up for an incomplete game.

6 RepliesThank you. It's nice to see someone doing something other than complaining and ranting on here. I have been reading much of the feedback problems on here and I think the biggest issue with Destiny so far is us, the community. The vex mythoclast is a great example. It started into PvP and people screamed about how OP it was(which, let's face it, it was) but instead of any discussions or solutions it was just people screaming "nerf it!" So Bungie did. Now we've got the other group screaming un-nerf it because it should be extremely good for PvE ( which it should) and only recently has the suggestion of nerfing it in PvP and not PvE been proposed (after the update of course) but not once did anyone consider that before hand. Let's face it, both sides of this argument are so set on getting changes immediately that we've given Bungie no time to properly implement updates. Our knee-jerk reactions and emotion filled rants forced Bungie to issue an update without the proper time to figure out a proper solution. For comparison, look at the shotgun nerf with the recent update. People have said since the first week the shotguns are stronger than they should be. Their tweak took a much longer time getting here, but they are still viable in PvP, despite being weaker, and , from what I can tell thus far, their nerf has had very little impact on their PvE capabilities. If we want this game to reach the potential we know it has, we has a community just need patience and time (not the sniper rifle) and to fill these feedback forums with more discussions and less rants. If so, maybe people would have worked out a proper update for the mythoclast(like PvP nerf without PvE change) before Bungie was forced to nerf it to satisfy us.

6 RepliesThey are not listening they are trolling big difference. They -blam!-ed with the hardest/best gun in the game to get and made it the hardest/sub par gun in the game to get. How is this in any way listening? This is why world of Warcraft is on 10 years and why destiny won't live past 1 year. They need to speak to real mmo developers and not casual players who can only complain.
-
I think Bungie is not listening all that well: http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/289707/72793837/0/0

Edited by spaceme17: 10/16/2014 5:45:04 PMI don't see evidence they are listening. Who complained about the Pocket Infinity being too powerful? When it was nerfed, i was surprised since it was the first i heard there was a problem. No, it seems they have a vision of what Destiny should be and players opinions be damned. The only people they have listened to so far are the whiny PvP players which has f'ed up the PvE. Oh and its great when they designed the Raid and set its rules. When people found strategies which worked great, they change the rules.

2 RepliesListening is different from doing. All we've seen is weapon tweaks to make PVP people bitch less and PVE bitch more. Cryptotard got half fixed. Outfitter might as well be selling 6 shades of grey.. though that would be an improvement. Still no chat, in the SOCIAL HUB! Just reductions. Did Walmart buy Bungie?

1 ReplyAn ever changing experience? More like narrow minded, relentless repetition
-
5 RepliesI think I still need a volume control for the music.
-
This discussions are like the game. A never ending repetition.
-
3 RepliesSick to the back teeth of hearing retards defend this game by saying 'it's an ever changing experience' the only thing they've spent their time changing is problems that should have been fixed post beta and the whole 'ten year plan' is nonsense let me make it clear this single destiny game will NOT be receiving content for ten years If you bothered to read the activision agreement as long as the game sells more than five million copies then activision give bungie money to develop the next destiny and they are suppose to keep releasing a new destiny game every two years with a couple of expansion packs in between as long as the targets are met. THEY HAVE A TEN YEAR PLAN FOR A FRANCHISE NOT A SINGLE GAME This is a new IP and they should be wowing people not giving people easy reasons to dislike this game!

For me, my biggest issue is the story, or lack thereof. I'm hoping for a significant campaign addition with the DLC, and unless that comes in the first two packages, I'll be moving on. I'm all for helping Bungie craft a better game, but the ball is in their court.
-
3 RepliesIt's ok to improve game after launch and it should be done nonetheless but selling a full price game that is just an empty shell and "updating the game" only seems to mean "were adding stuff that should've been there in the first place." And real updates this game really needs seem to be in the form of paid DLC and even the DLContent got leaked and also confirmed that's all we get. 3story missions, 1-2 new strikes and 1 raid each. I wonder how many new doors Dinklebot opens for us in those while we shoot hordes of enemies. I mean you, not we, eventhough I bought limited edition, this game is going back to GS next month. I get it, you're defending the game because you believe it'll get better. And it might get better, it's true but to be honest it wouldnt even take much to make this game better and every time they've patched and released events, they've done more damage than improvement. And with Iron Banner, they just lied to everyone and no matter what you or anyones says, that is a fact. For me it feels like this game is having a massive identity crisis and devs have no idea if they should listen to community or keep their own mind so they do a bit of both with no real goal in mind. Guys behind Halo are gone.
ThimbaDM Guys behind Halo are gone.
it surely seems this way and this rang clear to me like a bell on a cold winter morning.

6 RepliesEdited by NERD RAGE XB1: 10/15/2014 7:53:49 PMYes... CLEARLY ..they are listening and have made just a stupid awesome game! It breaks all molds and gives us all something new and truly unique. And all the hate and all the bad press is just from haters who clearly dont know that Destiny is a 10 year game that will have us all in awe eventually and we will all eventually see the light and recognize that Destiny is he best game evar!
or it could be that Bungie is completely full of shit... Over hyped and under delivered on this very ROUTINE shooter.. With a few mmo features and has so far managed it like a full fùcking retard managing a mcdonalds
I think they need to stop getting rid of good personnel and turn this into the MMO game the community wants to play and fix the cut scenes so we get a whole story.
