Remove Shotguns and Fuson Rifles From Iron Banner
First off, I'm not a hater of these weapons. They are actually quite strong and fun to use, but people take advantage of them. Now I'm not saying to just remove them from the whole game itself, or even from all PvP... just Iron Banner. It says in the description of the Iron Banner that it is for the true fighters or something like that, but with these two weapons, that doesn't become the case. It is too simple for people to camp with these weapons. I find AT LEAST 2 different people who have a shotgun and/or fusion rifle.
I love the Iron Banner, it's great and I actually get to showcase the true beast within my character. But seriously, what is the point in trying to be in a game type that is supposedly made for skilled people, if we can't even turn a corner without getting blasted by some camper?

They should remove snipers from the Iron Banner too. I hate it when I'm on one side of the map and they're on the other and then they take advantage of the distance with their sniper. And all i had on me was a AR and shotgun

I guess Bungie should just remove all the weapons because somewhere some one has a issue with each weapon in the game. Oh and remove all the classes while your at it because those are all overpowered too.

all I hear is "somebody is better than me with that gun and they shouldn't be able to use it because they kill me with it" check you corners man, don't just go blindly running around that's what we shotgunners love.

5 RepliesI do agree with you on the fusion rifles they are insane.. the shotgun i agree too to some point.. Its strange they call this gamemode skilled.. why not a 3v3 mode too of iron banner? Thats not too much asked for i guess.

Bud your only option is to join them. It's not like you can't see them on the radar and its not like you don't know full well that they are going to be sitting there with one of those two weapons hoping for you to pop the corner ill prepared. Yes it is cheap but that's how Destiny PvP is played. I don't particularly like it but the map design makes it real easy for people to play this way. So you have to know going in that that is exactly what they are going to do. Save your primary for those very few battles that actually take place out in the open and the rest of the time you should be running your secondary or heavy launcher period. Also, throw a grenade around the corner when you know that they are sitting there. That tends to piss them off. Since the community insists on playing PvP with such a low skill bar then you just have to use what you have to outplay what they are doing. In Destiny that means not giving them a shot to take you down. It doesn't make for a fun PvP experience but it is what it is.

I worked my ass off completing my Pocket Infinity bounty, I had to buy 10 rare fusion rifles for 1800 glimmer each, and on top of that I used a shitty green fusion rifle I had leftover to kill 200 enemies on the level 28 nightfall. I should be allowed to use it without any nerfs, or handicaps even if its PvP.

If it's not auto rifles, it's something else. Point being even if they took those exact guns out of iron banner, I'd be willing to bet you, or someone like you, will be back in a few days whining about something else. I hate when people say this as a solution, but in this case it applies, adapt and quit complaining like a kid.

3 RepliesAt least 2 with a shotty or fusion... Means other 3 or 4 all have snipers seeing as these only 3 options for specials weapons... If 50+ of players are using snipers that must be the op problem no?

3 RepliesJust for good measure we should also remove sniper rifles, rocket launchers, machine guns, auto rifles, pulse rifles, scout rifles, hand cannons, supers, melee, and grenades right? Then we can just run in to each other and try to sumo players off the map. Or we could play the actual game and stop crying like a child.

The weapons are fine, it's the player that camps with them that's annoying. Yup, you know who you are.
