Is it me or did the Postmaster stop giving purples?
Prior to the update, when I leveled up my cryptarch, the postmaster would give me a legendary envelope that usually included 1-2 purple engrams. Now granted, they always turned blue at the cryptarch, but it was nice getting them. Since the update, I've leveled up 5 times and have yet to receive a purple engram from the postmaster. I feel like Bungie changed something. Anyone else experiencing this?

1 ReplySince the update I have found zero purple drops and every cryptarch package I have received since has turned into blues. And I play everyday. It kinda sucks, but if I look at it how it used to be. I was getting purple engram's fairly often but they never turned into purples. So I am still in the same boat.

No, I got a legendary special weapon engram from the Crypty rank up just this morning.

Well people were complaining about the legendary engrams always turning blue..so why not just make it all blue? To go along with just how blue it makes you.

Haven't gotten a purple since my cryptarc was level 7 (currently 29). It's all luck as far as I can tell since my friends have been getting purples every once in a while, even after the patch.

my cryptarch is rank 50 now and i hardly get any more and getting a higher and higher rank just isnt doing shit for me like. I think they changed the legendary engram rate after the update because before the update i was getting legendary engrams left, right and centre and since the update i have had 1.

It's because it's guaranteed legendaries now instead of blues like before

I've gotten two purples from leveling up cryptarch

I have leveled up 6 times since the patch, I have had 2 purples and 11 blues from his packages.

I'm in the same boat, might have leveled it like.. 3 times since update and it's always been blues for the package, maybe a mote of light or something as well. I think mine is level 28 or 29 now.

They defintely did change it but he still gives legendaries I leveled up my cryptarch twice yesterday and got legendary in both. But day before I got none. Keep getting those engrams and get that package I think it a safe easy way for legendary if you know a spot for engrams like me that I will never show the public;)
