DeeJ only responds to Troll AMAs and Warlock Nerfing Requests lol.
-
Why does he need to respond if he sees it? Why cant he just watch it like a regular human being?
-
To tell us he's listening, so much of what he's said has been really cryptic or reactionary (as damage control). It may not be the case but often it feels like he isn't really listening, just saying what he has to cause it's his job.

Edited by Nourface: 10/8/2014 12:05:27 AMNo but really why do you need that kind of hand holding.
-
It's not hand holding, it's acknowledgement that the devs who claim to care about their community actually start really showing that through their actions.
-
Edited by Nourface: 10/8/2014 12:20:15 AMSeriously, what does that do for the good of the game. Honestly, what golden goose egg are we provided for his gracious acknowledgement? If a hot fix or patch pops up with what we asked to be fixed isnt that acknowledgment enough?

It is called being a good/great community manager: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9sHIQaFVC8

A lot of people feel Bungie broke trust with the community by promising one thing with Destiny and giving another. Their faith has been weakened, and so they are much less patient and understanding. Silence in this situation is not a good thing, it leaves people to create their own ideas of what happened; and in leiu of a proper response from Deej, or acknowledgement that they are giving fair hearing to the ideas being thrown out, the community is more likely to believe the rumors than wait patiently. It's unfair to Deej in a way, as he isn't the one who failed to live up to our expectations, but in this context a certain ammount of hand holding is not unreasonable to expect.

We need more people like you

I agree.
