XBconnect will die
Dont you guys think that XBconnect will eventullay die out since Halo2 will be Xbox live enabled??? even though it should be system link also who would play it on system liink when it would alwyas lag and you cant even talk???
The only people that will do this is the only peole with out xbox live, well sucks for them, but i mena their will be people playing Halo cause some people may not like Halo2 like alot of people dont like the second verision of games some usally like the first game of it
Like Halo 1 some poeple may like better then Halo2 for some odd reason but then if they think that then they are messed up, but you guys get the point right??

It may die but right now it isn't so why don't some of you guys get on sometime and we'll play. No one is ever on Xbconnect from bungie. Man I miss the old underground less people, less confusing, and less threads.

well to tell you one thing, i say that xbox live has NO LAG, becasue i no for a fact that when i host full server games everone tells me that i have a kick ass server even on xbconnect i cna host 16 players on halo so ya i can host no lag, and you will be seeing me hosting for halo2

If XBL doesn't work then neither does XBC. XBC is only for skinflints or people who want to play system-link-only games online.

XB connect wont die! Its free! and you can do 4 player split screen online! thats so cool! anyway whoever said that Xbox live has no lag and Xbox system link does...is an Idiot~ there is way less lag with system link...Not only is it using the same kind of cord that xbox live uses but is also way closer and travels less. And you get to play your friends!

xbc is definitley a goner, for serveral reasons including: 1) Their fan base will go from several thousand to 40, because thats about how many people play non-halo games 2) people will be playing xbox live halo 2, the people that are on xbc have broadband, and if you can afford broadband, than you can afford xbl(you can also get it in your area if you have broadband...no matter what) 3) grunts rule

I don't like XBC. I know a lot of people won't agree with me on that, but once I tatsed xbox live, I decided I would wait till Halo 2 and let the other games sastisfy my online and shooting goodness.

there are lots of people that can't get Live in their area - I'm one. I need to have a satellite connection to get decent internet access - which won't work for Xbox. System Link Multiplayer will never die, there's more social interaction = more fun.

I live in Luxembourg and XBL is not supported here in this small little country, but with all broadband connection, XBL is possible. Even with thouse louse connections we got here... I play XBL on 512/128k and it rocks... my few cents

How could you not get live in a certain area? It's not like DSL or cable, its something thats already online.[I'm not sure if that was entirely coherent, so you can just igone it and answer my question :)].
