when the information of 404 is correct then the grimoire was a last second "patch" to the missing storyline and the obsolete voice acting bits for the original story..
maybe the storywriter had the rights on the roginal story or they couldnt didnt want to finish it the original way, or something else stupid occured..
either way.. the grimoire looks VERY estranged and like a "helppatch".. not like a solution..

Bungie will not confirm or deny those rumors.. and probably never will. May as well let it go or hope for an answer.. Either way, what we have is the game now, the story now, and I think it is salvageable, especially because the grimoire is full of great information and stories/lore.. most people have no idea about the amount and depth information in Grimoire. And something can be done about this! It's all there, just make it more accessible!

Hopefully, much of the lore in the Grimoire is already in the works to represent itself in game, over the course of time. This is very likely.. Yet-to-be Destiny has tons of potential, and I don't think Bungie is as dumb as some people are yelling and screaming.
