I'm an XBOX owner, and the PS4 looks like a clear winner in graphics in the Beta. With the full release, I still think the PS4 looks sharper. I really don't care though, because gameplay is what determines the longevity of a game and not eye candy and graphics. Fortunately, the gameplay and content is consistent across platforms - I don't count exclusive content in this because the availability is based on the content being a timed "exclusive" rather than an issue with the platform.

You obviously dont know anything because you said ps4 has the better graphics. Destiny is 1080p 30fps on BOTH consoles
-
Thanks for showing your knowledge on this topic. Not all 1080p 30fps is created equal. Why don't you look at the difference in shaders, texture units, and memory decisions (speed, bandwidth, placement i.e. on-die?) to name a few. The chips are close, but Pitcairn tends to perform better than Bonaire, and these differences along with any variances in pipeline can lead to differences in rendering.

Doesn't matte. BUNGIE said it will look the same and run the same
-
Did somebody say longevity?

You need to have your eyes tested. I looked at both on the same television, and there is no difference whatsoever.

Edited by FuzzyWhiteLion: 9/30/2014 8:39:37 PMI went based off of the numerous side-by-side comparisons of in game video and world detail. I only have an 360 so I can't compare in person between systems. My point still stands: who really cares? What difference does it make? Gameplay is what makes a game good, and Destiny has plenty of it. By the way, make sure the TV that you used is not the limiting factor.

I can assure you my television is definitely not the "limiting factor", as you put it. I have 3 1080p televisions in my household. Destiny doesn't look any different on either system. Destiny doesn't play any different on either system. Like I said, maybe you should get your eyes tested. Sounds like you might have something seriously wrong.

Interestingly enough, the conclusion that I came up with was always the same one that the people conducting the different tests finalized on.
