T4R. You can't. I feel it's time some of the ignorant haters learn what Christianity is actually about because I'm absolutely sick of reading false accusation after false accusation pertaining to Christianity.
ATTENTION:
THE CRUSADES IS NOT A VALID ARGUMENT.
Christianity as a religion does not condone murder or even killing in the name of Christianity. The decision to fight was made by the pope. The pope OBVIOUSLY does not control the religion. To be a Christian, you must follow Jesus Christs' word. Jesus never condoned killing. Therefore the pope went against his own religion in ordering a war. The pope does not have more say than Jesus. The pope does not control the religion. He is was nothing more than a man in power and a hypocrite. You can not blame a religion for being evil when individual people who can do whatever they want do something bad and affiliate themselves with the religion.
I mean If you're going to do that then:
A guy who lives to eat fried chicken kills someone. So people who eat fried chicken are evil!
It's stupid.

Have you ever read the old testament? Justified violence by God galore. Those stories are horrific and are no basis for morality, unless you are a sociopathic serial killer. How can you overlook all of that? Just the idea alone of if you don't believe in me, you will suffer for eternity should tell you something. Always a threat of God's wrath hanging over your head and will punish you for things that we now know is harmless behavior. By any other name, that is the definition of terrorism.

This one time in the bible, God slaughtered everyone on the face of the earth. Peaceful.

Religion exists within the individual.

For everyone who says that Christianity is a religion of war, it's important to look at the actual precepts of the religion rather than the actions if the people who follow it. Christianity teaches that whenever possible we should use peaceful methods to resolve tensions with other people. In the Old Testament, Moses asked pharaoh several times for him to release the Hebrews, but when he kept refusing, that is when god employed violence. When the Hebrews entered out of the wilderness and started wars with the natives there, it was because the natives also sought to destroy them and god knew that peaceful methods of resolution would be ineffective. These natives were also practicing terrible acts like human sacrifice. Outside of the bible, we have to just go by what the religion taught, not by what it's followers did. I don't think many of the act of the Catholic Church were inspired by god, since Constantine basically took all the authority upon himself and seems to me to be agnostic, really. If someone hits you with a hammer, do you blame the hammer? Or should you blame the person who hit you with it? A hammer can be used to do build a lot of great things, and it can also be used to hurt someone. It's not the hammers fault and in the same way Christianity cannot be held responsible when people who claim to follow it do incorrect things.

Even assuming that the crusades don't count, which they do... There's still plenty more. Inquisition for starts. Both Africans and Natives Americans were thought to be Devils by the Christians who encountered them. Thus, the years of cruelty towards them. Also, there were wars fought between Catholics and Protestants who are each brands of Christians. Then there's everything in the Old Testament. King Soloman, Noah's flood, God made some guy go to the top of a mountain and sacrifice his son but when he did he condemned him for doing what he told him to. Then he directly intervened in what's his name's life and made it crappy just to win a bet with the Devil. Christians are responsible for a great many atrocities, usually following the shitty example that some imaginary sky person set instead of having original thoughts themselves.
