Hunters: worst class overall.

Warlock

Titan

Hunter

I will keep it short My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma. Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp. also vote what you think is best.

  • Haven't finished leveling my hunter, but I feel they kinda fall short of the other two classes in PvE (Hunter is by far the strongest PvP contender, IMO). The major problem is that for Titan and Warlock, both subclasses are completely fine for PvE, as they all have useful abilities. Defenders can provide instant cover in sticky situations, Strikers and Voidwalkers can deal some serious AoE damage, and Sunsinger can either provide a buff to the entire fireteam or act as a failsafe against wiping out. My problem with hunter comes from the fact that only one subclass is really good for PvE content. Gunslinger is great for taking out oracles, and providing single-target damage. Bladedancers super feels kinda lackluster to me - all it seems to be good for is clearing out trash mobs, something that can be done instantly with nova bomb, fist of havoc, or hell, a well placed grenade. But anyway, that's just my two cents. Take it how you will.

  • Just another huntard in PvP IMO. Pvp annihilates ATM. Might as well being orc skinfrom WoW.

  • Hunter is terrible compared to the other two. If you think the hunter is good you are lying to yourself. The blade dancer super is good, but everything else is awful. The hunter is useable, but falls short in all aspects compared to the other classes. Titan is the best for strategic teams, warlock is good for lone wolves. Personally, Titan is my favorite because the grenades are all useful in different places, and the two subclass supers are the opposite of each other. BTW, flashbang is the greatest thing that happens in pvp.

    • My hunter is lvl 29 and has both subclasses maxed n work just fine in both pve and pvp. First off the triple jump is just as good as glide when jumping to high places. Dosent go as far as glide but just as high. Second the blade dancers invisibility is amazing in both pve and pvp. Its not meant for charging straight at ur opponents yet u still can. In pve invisibility works great when ur playing with a fireteam and need to revive the other members. Specially in nightfall and raid. In pvp invisibility works great for running up behind ur enemy's or sneaking into a control zone and even when ur sniping as u won't show up on the radar. Every class has something that's op and not so great about them. Hunters blade dancer is op when paired with a titans defensive bubble. Once u get that over shield on a blade dance ur almost guaranteed to stay alive n rack up kills till ur spec is gone hunters are meant for quick hard hits. Titans shoulder charge and lingering FoH are way op specially that shoulder rush. Titans are meant for damage over time. Warlocks have the huge void grenades and u pretty much don't have to aim ur specials because of the huge area they hit. Warlocks are great area of effect characters. Anyways other than titans one hit shoulder rush needing to be tweeked I think the classes are fine the way they are.
