I have a level 26 Hunter and I have almost a full set of Legendary armor from vendor purchases. I've also had 2 pieces drop for a Warlock, and 2 for a Titan. I've been saving them, thinking I might play one of those classes as well. But now I'm not sure. Destiny seems to be more about the long game and really pushing a single class. I could break them down for desperately needed ascendant shards. What do most people do with these?
Thanks!

I personally put them in the safe for my other classes. I would switch to another class if I can on Vanguard and/or Crucible marks and grind out some extra inventory items for my primary Hunter. It seems that Ascendant items, Strange Coins and Motes of Light came way faster in my early efforts (pre-LV 25)

if it's for titan i keep it cause i plan on playing with titan later. if it's legendary for the hunter i sell it for shard.

2 RepliesVault that bitch and make a new bitch to put it on so you're bitchin past those other bitches.
-
2 RepliesUse it on my other character. Everyone should have 3. Don't see how playing one class the whole time can be fun

I thought about saving them for alts too, BUT then I realized that by the time I level my alts to 20, the gear will be obsolete anyways. Not to mention another piece of gear might drop for them. Basically, If you have more than one exotic armor piece per class, definitely break them down. If you have only one, probably do it anyway.

Saving them for my other characters.
-
Yep, I save them for my alts as well. I've got a nice pair of Ghost Angel boots for when my Hunter hits 20, and since Doctor Nope is my primary weapon, and I got Shadow Price today. Right in the vault for my Titan.
-
Well for my playstyle Titan is just a boring brute class, I suggest breaking down the Titan gear saving the Warlock and become a Sunsinger.
-
Ascendant shards all the way!
-
I put them in my vault and I've started the other two classes. I'm close to maxed out already level wise for my titan until they release some more stuff. So I'm sure to have time to work on the other classes soon enough.

Chuck in the vault. I got a Legendary warlock helm in my vault, and it's something to look forward to when I play as a Warlock. Also got a few legendary weapons, like Unfriendly Giant, in there too.

Edited by Prime: 9/23/2014 6:00:33 PMMy advice would be to keep it. I play as all three. So I win regardless.
You should do the same, you just might discover a new favorite class.
Melt it down to shards, unless it's a class item. When I decide to make a new character I'll find all new loot for that character too.
-
7 RepliesSend it to my other class. Do people seriously not have more than one class?

Break em down Mane
-
Break them shits downnnn
-
I'm saving mine for other classes. I started a Hunter, but I only really used it in the Crucible. Honestly, you just do what benefits you most. Save them for the other classes, or dismantle them for shards.
-
Turn it into shards if its not raid gear.
-
lol...obviously there are two very polarized mindsets about what to do with this gear. Now I'm even more undecided.
-
your choise, dismantle or save em if plan on making that other character one day
-
Break them shits downnnn
-
It gets dismantled for ascended shards.
-
Vault yo!

I just throw them in the vault. I figure i may start another char eventually, and you can get 2 ascendant shards a day by changing the daily to lvl 28. Plus i think the nightfall weekly might offer them.
