"There are some who really want to try their luck at it hoping to get a legendary, some who do it to rank up the Cryptard (we all know he screws most of the time), and some who do it for weapon parts or glimmer. All of these reasons are perfectly fine. For the people who are against it: WHY DO YOU CARE?" Not that I'm against the cave personally, while it's there go for it.. but so long as the drop rates are artificially high because people are getting 10x as many drops via the loot cave as they ought to be, then the cryptarch will continue to give out trash. now, if people got drops at the rate that was intended, and as a result nobody was geared for the raid when it opened, bungie might've seen a problem, and then upped the chance to get items from the engrams, then people might've had their cake (playing the fun content how it was intended) and eating it (getting a decent return rate of items for their time).. but again, the cave bypasses this issue, meaning the one that hides behind it all (fun things not being rewarding versus exploiting a cave not being fun but ultimately being rewarding) will never be fixed. again, that's my perception of it, and again, while the cave is open, do it while you can, bungie hasnt' patched or stated anything about it so i can only assume that they don't mind it. I'm going to do it tongiht in the hopes of maybe seeing my second legendary drop (being that all my other items were bought, or earnt via rep gain gifts). Maybe I'll even get a decent legendary primary weapon to replace this sorry excuse for a exotic pulse rifle that I worked for.. Bad Juju is so terrible, it hurts, so much for it being 'one step above legendary' lol.
