Farmers vs Non-Farmers
Ok, look here.
Out of all these threads about farming the cave on Earth, it seems the ones that are against it are the aggressors on this forum and it's pretty unnecessary. Personally, I'm perfectly fine spending about 20-30 minutes at the Cave Casino (I wanna make that name a thing on this forum lol). I do the Vanguard bounties every day and play a few Crucible matches from time to time.
There are some who really want to try their luck at it hoping to get a legendary, some who do it to rank up the Cryptard (we all know he screws most of the time), and some who do it for weapon parts or glimmer. All of these reasons are perfectly fine. For the people who are against it: WHY DO YOU CARE?
I swear, some of them want to act high and mighty just because they think the farming is wrong. It's cool to express an opinion, but to call cave farmers "peasants" or "noobs" isn't cool. Just play the game the way YOU want, not worry about how others play, and we can all get along. It's not hard at all. If you can't seem to accept that, then you're making yourself look really immature trying to stand/dance in front of the cave while others are minding their own business. What they're doing isn't affecting you in ANY way.
I'm open for intelligent discussion on this matter, but this internet hate towards our fellow Guardians is stupid. This should be settled peacefully.

I don't have a problem with the loot cave at all, I have used it on the odd occasion but nothing beneficial in terms of loot has come from it for me anyway. I think what people are forgetting is that the loot system is ridiculously random, I have only ever had two legendary drops for my class (Helmet from Tiger Strike Playlist & Sniper Rifle from the Raid) the rest of my gear I got bought by making sure I maxed out my vanguard marks every week oh and my Scout rifle I got as a gift for reaching vanguard rank 3. I have several PSN friends who hit the loot cave daily, on average they have racked up 36 more hours game time than me but are still 2-3 levels lower than me (I'm Lvl 28 game time roughly 2 days 6 hours) this demonstrates perfectly how random decrypting is. Personally I think anyone can get loot how ever they want, If I happen to be by the cave and I see people grieving other players then I report them, this is against the games T&C's and you can be banned for it, you cannot be banned for farming. If everyone complaining about the loot cave just played the game as oppose to arguing about the "legitimate" way to gain loot then they probably wouldn't find "Farmers" passing them in terms of gear/level. As a side note this whole "Farmers" vs "Non Farmers" thing, its an MMO, absolutely every action you perform in game (bar Dancing, waving, etc.) is Farming.
