What is the secret to killing hunters(bladedancers)?

Topic. Specifically Bladedancers. Only time I have seen one of them die to another player was when it was bladedancer vs bladedancer. Only time I have ever killed one is with the interceptor out in the open where it took 3 or 4 direct shots to drop them and even then they were moments from killing me. So what is the proper response when you see them singlehandedly blowing through your team like an unstoppable god of death? Edit: corrected sworddancer to bladedancer Edit: successful methods suggested so far for anyone else feeling my frustration...If you are outside, it seems there are plenty of solutions. Being inside still appears to be a death sentence. outside 1) be far away 2) use your own super 3) heavy weapons 4) entire team unloads on them from distance 5) glide and shoot from safety of the air(questionable). 6) snipe them 7)vehicle weapons inside 1) your own super 2) Heavy weapon

  • Wait 'till that bastard comes bladedancing towards you, then right before he mauls you, spray that shotgun shell into his -blam!-ing skull!

  • Shotgun to the face, fusion rifle to the face, your super, heavy wep, not getting close quarters while one has the blade out (thats like asking how to kill a titan close quarters when he uses ground slam)

    • If you're in a map with sparrows enabled, just summon it, get to a safe distance, and kill the guy.

      • Coming from a blade dancer, retreat. if you try to take one on, head on, you'll most likely lose. Two choices. -retreat in a (straight) line and wait it out. -retreat in a (straight) line, build some distance and fire. That's assuming you don't have a Titan or warlock super available. If so, just cancel him out. This is how warlocks and titans have stopped me.

      • Since hunters, and bladedancers in particular, are retarded, killing them is no challenge as long as their invincibility (super) isn't active.

          • Idk I've got this problem one had one come at me from mid range indoors got three head shots a shotgun blast and a melee and the -blam!-er still didn't go down. My solution for now is run away! Literally as soon as I notice someone active bladedancer I put as much distance between them and myself as possible and soon as they come out of super -blam!- them up!

            • Just don't be one of his first three targets. Then pull out your special and give him everything you've got. Other than that, there's not much else you can do, just like there's not much you can do against any other supers.

            • 1. Bladedancer battle 2. Shotgun auto firing 3. Warlock Nova Bomb super 4. Titan Fists of Havoc super 5. Ram him with the interceptor vehicle 6. Spray him with the Pike bike 7. Explosions from rocket launchers. But for me, it's funner when I do the Bladedancer battle xD

            • 1.) Being far away works perfectly. 2.) As a hunter in PVP, for some reason, every Super can 1-hit a hunter in their Arc Super while a hunter can't do that to them. 3.) Heavy Weapons take us out quickly while other supers it takes 2 shots from a rocket to do the job. 4.) 2+ people aiming at a hunter in Arc Super always prevails unless their shit. 5.) Golden Gun is 1-shot on Swordancer. 6.) Gliding doesn't do shit if you know how to use Swordancer class accordingly, we can use our lunge to travel farther and faster than a glide. All in all, there is no secret to killing hunters. Other classes like Titans and Warlocks are far more OP than Hunters. If we die the second we use our Super, we have to wait for recharge. If they die, it counts as inactive and they can use it again. Every other super increases their defence exponentially as well, with me somehow surving a Titan super, but after 4 hits using Swordancer on them and not even killing them is BS. They even finished me off while I was in Super by simply punching me. The way I see it, everyone complaining about Hunter is being a little bitch because we have to get in their face to use our Supers, probably scaring you shitless then causing you to rage while as a Warlock, you can just wipe an entire team by just throwing your Super at a distance. In my opinion, Nerf Warlocks and Titans to give Hunters a chance.

              • You cannot feasibly kill a blade dancer. Especially if you're a Titan Defender. I had to put several shotgun shells and rely on my "weapons of light" buff and force field buff just to be able to kill a blade dancer.

It goes something like this... Titan: High defense Med recovery Med attack Low agility Warlock: High recovery Med attack Med agility Low defense Hunter: High agility Med defense Med attack Low recovery Just so you can choose a class that suits you play style

                    • Just start pumping ammo into them plenty. If they have some damage on them already I've killed plenty with a shotgun and then punch. It's not like you can get them every time, and you shouldn't it is a super after all.
