How get better gear WITHOUT Raids and Crucible?
I can't play Raids because I'm lacking the required gear. I'm refusing to play Crucible, because I'm at a hotel with crappy internet for 2 weeks.
So..
What's the best way for me to get better gear without Crucible and Raids?

Grind. As much as you can. Strikes and I hate to condemn farming but try a few of those methods. People bitch about farmers but its not like you get everything quickly it still takes time you still have to grind that spot. Basically you just gotta play as much as you can amd youll earn stuff

7 RepliesFarm. Crucible gives trash gear most of the time, and raid gear is worse than what you can buy in shops with vanguard/crucible marks. So just farm. Kills lots of enemies so they drop blue and purple engrams. If you want increase vanguard level, at level 2 you can buy the best purple gear in the game, and after level 2 you get a free purple item everytime you level it up.

The Loot Cave in Old Russia in 3 hours gave me an exotic shotgun, legendary gountlets(for warlock:( and another 6 legendary engrams that the cryptarch broke into blue shit unfortunately

4 RepliesThere are a few options: I'm assuming Strikes and vangaurd stuff is out the question but I will suggest it anyway. Xur is always a option during the weekends... if you can afford his prices. You could try Engram Farming.

1 ReplyStep one play as many strikes as you can at the highest level toucan do well at. Step two always max vanguard rep and marks. Once you et to rank two you can buy legendary armour and at rank 3 weapons. No worries :) it just takes a lot of vanguard strikes
