Matchmaking and Tower No Players?
Yesterday got home from work started playing and everything was working fine. Stopped to eat dinner and when I logged back into Destiny I couldn't join any of my friends, the tower has no players walking around even though I see blue dots on the radar and matchmaking doesn't work at all. I don't get any connection error codes so as far as I know im connected to the servers. Does anyone else started having this problem?
Edit: Alright so here's an update. Just to make things clear, I'm playing on xbox one. I received no error message or been disconnected while playing the story missions (since that was all I can do). Following what a lot of people have been saying I reset my router and everything's normal now. Simple enough. So if this hasn't worked for you or your getting error codes then there's probably another issue.

I realized the blue dots is everybody at the Tower (merchants, etc.) when I checked the roster, I was alone. I have no idea how the servers work, location I'm sure plays a role. Being in Hawaii, at 2am, pretty sure there aren't a ton of players in my neck of the woods online. Had a couple of public events as well, public to me only, lol. Could not finish it by myself, not enough time/bullets. As I said, not sure how the matchmaking woks, but I would try logging out and back in to see if you connect to others then.
