Really can't remember what the score was since it has been a while.
Pity it doesen't rub off on your posts.
Sorry I don't feel much like discussionating with a bunch of 12 year olds. This is not the only place I post. I come here for a good laugh and really random stuff. I go to other forums when I want to talk about politics or current events.
Yep. Can't even talk politics here...save that one for my truck forum...I don't even own a truck anymore!

I think it's about average. I got a 1200 or something on mine :/ I pretty much failed the Math portion, but got great scores in English. My counselor said it was an alright score ;-;

CHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on your school. Less then 2000 was considered poor at my school. I took it, but it was kinda pointless since I ended up at a community college. [Edited on 02.14.2008 9:38 AM PST]
Posted by: Eight Oh 8 State Meh, that's average. I got a 1860 on it. I got a near perfect on the math (780) but messed up the essay part real bad.
I got about the same as this fella, except I was the opposite. I did better on the rest of it, and so-so on the math. 1700 is decent. If you're high ranking in your class, you should be fine. I was in the top 10% of my class (around 5%, really) in my class, so I didn't worry about taking it again. If you're in the top 10% in your class, state universities have to accept you (if you're going to a university in your state, that is). [Edited on 02.14.2008 9:27 AM PST]
Posted by: the elements600 Or at least they do in England. In America it might be different.
SATS in england are a standardised test for 7, 11 and 13 year olds. They're for statistical tracking of schools and for future grade prediciton (you'll get a -blam!-tonne of YELLIS and ALIS data in years 11/12/13 that're based off your grade predictions). SATs in the USA are the closest equivalent they have of A-levels in they they're a college (university) entrance test, however theyre not an actual qualification like our a levels are.

im pretty sure i got like a 900. almost.

aren't the SAT's really only good for colleges East of the Mississippi? and ACT's for the West? That's what I heard. since I'm from Colorado, never bothered with the SAT.

You do all realise that the SATs tests are just about the most pointless, meaningless and unnecessary waste of time you will ever be forced to go through. Seriously, they really mean nothing and whatever the teachers need to know is shown in your normal schoolwork anyway. Or at least they do in England. In America it might be different.
Posted by: Accidentus There should be a little box that shows what percentile you scored in. I would guess that an average of almost 600 on each test is around the top 30-40. ^^^WHAT??!! NINE THOUSAND!!! ^^^
There's a chart on Wikipedia that says his 1700 puts him in the 72nd percentile. I had a pretty typed up addition to my post above and then the website glitched and I lost it.
Posted by: a420ballaAZ2 I was in the top 5% of the country for the SAT.
